Works as it should ! Good product

It had to be treated because it does expand. I measured wrong.

I had assumed that this product would expand more than it did. It was compressed quite a bit when I received it meaning half inch thickness. Once it was unraveled and laid open air for a while I got about an inch if that. So if you want something then more depth try the thicker size. Otherwise it was packaged well and unfolded easily.

Foam worked well... Expands when opened...

I was skeptical, but boy does this foam expand a lot! Very insulating as well!!

Got the 1”x1”. Installed it 5 days ago. The thickest it expanded to was 3/4” and with some places as little as 1/2”. There are also “crimps” in the foam (my guess is each is 1 circumstance distance from the next) that barely expanded at all making huge gaps.This is basically worthless if you need any kind of seal of the stated size on the package. Maybe it would be fine if you installed it in a 1/2” gap or smaller because at no point did this expand the full inch.EDIT I UPPED THE STARS because after about 2 weeks it’s just about expanded. It’s not as tight as I’d like (it doesn’t go into the curves where the cinder lock meets) and there are still gaps where there were crimps. But it is better than it was. I would NOT recommend this I’d you needed air or bugs kept out but it is better than full on 1” gaps losing AC our the door and was easy to thread in as one long piece behind our brackets on the roll up.

Great product!

Used it to seal top and bottom of double hung windows. Felt a slight breeze at the bottom and top of the window before install. Product was compressed to 1/4 inch at install, 20 degree outdoor temp and could barely feel any cold. Checked again a couple hours later, no air leak at all. Very impressed.
