An Easy Read
I enjoyed reading this book and I will keep it in my library as a reference. I have read a few investor books over the years and this is the second one that I can truly say I could follow without confusion. I took notes as well as highlighted key areas within the book that I can use to build a portfolio. Very good read for the new investor.

Great book for learning the basics about investing!! My girlfriend and I read this and it opened our minds to want to learn more about investing for the long term. We are only 20 years old. The younger you start, the more money you have in the end!!! Buy and give to anyone in high school or college you know!!!!

Great Long Term Advice for Beginners
As is to be expected by the price it is a very short book that covers only a small amount of information. It is stated in the title that it's meant to grow wealth the "smart and easy way" and that's exactly the information it gives you. It didn't say quickly, it didn't say grow a fortune overnight, it said easy and that's exactly what it does. It explains long term, safe practices and financial saving advice. Nothing more, nothing less. Overall i have to say it was a nice paced read and is for beginners so it delivers exactly as expected.

At best, it will get you motivated to dig deeper ...
Very clear and concise info. This book should be handed out to every kid as they walk out of college and/or high school - or even before. Everyone needs at least a minimal understanding of personal finance and investing - although most people don't have it or get it way too late and regret that they didn't figure it out sooner. This book takes care of the investing part of that need. At best, it will get you motivated to dig deeper and take serious control of your retirement investing, but even if it doesn't, it at least gives you the ability to confidently create more of a set-it-and-forget-it strategy that will take minimal effort on your part and will help you reach your future financial goals.

Best $5 I ever spent on Amazon was buying this
I read this book several years ago when I wanted to get into investing. It taught me an effective allocation strategy for my 401k, in addition to providing resources on researching the best available funds. As a result, my retirement account has performed effectively and experienced continued growth.More importantly, this book also taught me about the value of diversification. I got into cryptocurrencies a few years back, and having spread my capital into multiple technologies and projects has both augmented my ROI during the current bull cycle and also helped weather the bears and volatility at other times.

A "Must Have" for people new to the world of stocks and bonds
I am 40 years old and I finally got a decent job where I can start truley planning for my retirement. I knew at my age I needed to start acting fast. Being almost completely illiterate to investing, I was worried about making mistakes or being taken advantage of in the world of stocks and bonds. This book gave me unbiased sound investing advice, and it explained the investing world in a way I would understand. I even bought this book for a close friend who was in the same boat I was because I know how valuable this information is.

charts are broken up and hard to track
Many of the charts are broken up on separate pages so you can't see the whole chart at one time.It seems like a very basic thing to check before printing. It became distracting and the book ended up in the discard pile.

Read this to overcome your fears of investing
If you're someone like me who was really intimidated about the prospect of investing, I highly recommend this book. I read another similar book so I would have a point of comparison (Invest Like a Pro!), and this was definitely the better of the two (although it was helpful to read the other book as well). It's easy to follow and presents a well balanced view of what's out there without getting too technical and overly complicated (the additional links for extra reading are useful and highly appreciated). At the advice of the author, I have opened an account with IvyVest, which is AMAZING--super easy to use, well researched, and totally takes the intimidation factor (i.e. time and worry) out of investing, so that you can easily get started with 100% confidence. I'm SO happy I got this book, and definitely one of the most useful books I've read in a really long time!

Great place to start for beginner investors.
A nice short introduction to investing. If you are new to investing, I highly recommend this book. It gives a nice place to start, including some concrete numbers to start building your financial plan. However, do not expect this book to be a comprehensive guide to investing (the book is only 100 pages after all).
