So Far So Good
Our Dyson V8 stopped charging when turned 2-1/2 yr old. We debated if getting another model, i.e. V11, as V8 has poor battery record. Money talked, we decided to go with a replacement battery. We did some research and opted to go with Lasica vs a Dyson OEM that costs 3 times. The delivery was very timely, received in 2 days. Installation was super easy. 3 screws, that's it. It took a while to charge fully, probably due to a new battery. We put it in use and the vacuum is good as new. Not sure how long this battery will last. Will come back for update later.So far, we're happy with Lasica.

Perfect replacement
Came charged so three screws and it was ready to go. Great to extend the life of an all too expensive appliance to discard. Perfect solution. Used it nearly the end of its charge and it charged back to full quickly. Very pleased

Use Turbo mode to your heart's content with this replacement battery!
The provided instructions were very easy to follow and the installation was straight forward. We have followed the instructions not to charge the battery every time and so far it has held up well. Prior to replacement, the original Dyson battery would no longer last long enough for us to vacuum the tile floor. And forget about it when using the carpet attachment.With the new battery, we have run it nightly (we have two toddlers) and have not had to charge it for a whole month. This replacement has been amazing and restored our Dyson to even better than new condition.Recently, we had to use Turbo mode and the performance with the new battery has blown us away. We have avoided using Turbo mode, even when the Dyson was new, the battery would drain in under 3 minutes. With the original battery in degraded state, Turbo mode wouldn't last a minute. We reserved Turbo mode for the small and very special occasions. With this replacement battery, I was able to run Turbo with no end. I kept waiting for the vacuum to die and even vacuumed other things beyond the task I had intended to "Turbo" and after a while, I gave up and put the Dyson away because it hadn't ticked down a bar of battery life.Overall, after using this replacement battery for two months, I have not seen any degradation in battery life and have been extremely happy with the renewed performance of my Dyson. I don't know if I attribute that to following the instructions to not frequently top off the battery, but I have not found a need to keep it charged as this replacement battery seems to last forever.

Works great until it doesn't! Lasted only 9 months.
Bought this Dec 2023. Was really happy with the increased run time of the vacuum. Then, in Sep 2024, all of a sudden, it stopped charging. When plugged into the charger, the LED indicators flash continuously - one red and two blue. According to internet research, it means the circuit board is bad [which is kind of strange that the circuit board would would go bad and still have enough programming in it to say it's bad :/].

Purchased twice already
This is an excellent replacement battery for my Dyson vacuum. Unfortunately it only lasts about 1 year. So I have had to replace it twice already. I am now looking into a different seller that sells the filters along with the battery. Great for 1 year of use though!

RETRACTION!! on my unfavorable review "Used maybe 10 times, just "surges" and won't hold suction"
My Dyson had a clog at the bottom where the head meets the long tube shaft. Cleaned the clog it's now working great!! My mistake and this battery charges up just fine.My original review a couple months ago "This worked great the first few times, worthless after 5 months. Truly only used it maybe 10 times before it began to surge and drop suction/power, surge and drop suction / power. Think "WHOO eee, WHOO eee. Will buy another brand, maybe Dyson replacement because Dyson is too expensive to toss the whole cordless stick vacuum when a new battery is all it needs. The original Dyson battery lasted about 5 years.

Easy install only took a few minutes, now vacuum is as good as new.
