TransformersRobots in Disguise Warrior Class Strongarm Figure

This looked like any normal toy car. Then Ta-Da, robot, but only in disguise! Hours of good times. (not for gold fish).

When we opened the box one of the wheels fell off, it wouldn't stay attached...I wasn't real impressed. Overall it felt much cheaper than Windblade Warrior class (which we love) and I was disappointed. However my son was so stoked to get another female robot so I ordered a replacement. I'm glad I did - I don't know why but the 2nd one had a much nicer feel and transformed better. One note that isn't real clear, there's this black piece under her armpit - when she's partially transformed into vehicle mode with wheels down - you need to have that piece rotated DOWN out of the armpit socket or getting the hood right is almost impossible. My kid was frustrated until we got the hang of that trick. He's a bit young for the toy at almost 4 but he is pretty gentle on his toys and after some practice he has mastered getting her from robot->car->robot. While we still play with Windblade, Strongarm really looks like a car when transformed - she's truly a robot in disguise. We also like that she's so strong and imposing looking.

As a parent, I think transformer toys are the best. This one is no different. It is of exceptional quality and has kept my 6 1/2 year old entertained for hours and hours. She is slightly more difficult to transform than some of the other ones, but my son was able to figure it out on his own and flies through it now.

The toy has weak joints and the legs fall off easily. When it's transformed into the police vehicle the doors are difficult to get to line up. Generally this one is not well made.

Excellent transformer, four year old has little need for assistance, easier to change than cheaper 1-step Strongarm.

First, the transformer is 5.5 inches tall vs 10, and maybe 3 inches wide. Very misleading to call it 10 inches by 6.5, which isn't even the size of the package cardboard backing. Second, it's very difficult to transform especially for a child. Third, it fails apart almost immediately. On my case, twice in 5 minutes of play by my son.Truly cheap crap.

It has a solid looking vehicle mode, light since it's a lot of shell for the bulk of it, but a nice suv; the transformation is simple; as for the robot mode it has solid legs, a nice head sculpt but I'm not all that happy with the quibble on the back left by the roof & doors, which also get a bit in the way of the shoulders.

We have had no issues with Strongarm. She was built well. I would definitely recommend this one.
