Creabest917083-01 22.2 V 2000 mAh Li-ion Replacement Battery for Dyson DC31 DC34 (Except DC34 Animal) DC35 (Type A Only, Launched Before June 2013)

The only instruction related to charging this product was "We recommend recharging the battery when it totally cooled down". I charged it using the Dyson charger for one hour, noticing the charger was flashing steadily (normally it would stay on whilst charging and go out when charged). I then started vacuuming the stairs but before I got halfway down the Dyson stopped. I then charged the battery for 6 hours and tried again, this time the Dyson ran for just over 2 minutes and stopped. I then charged it overnight and the Dyson then wouldn't work at all. Every time the charger flashed steadily which according to the Dyson instructions means 'battery'. Clearly this item is not fit for purpose and is going to be returned. Reviewers who were satisfied with this product may have been lucky, or maybe I was unlucky.

The batter on our 3 year old Dyson was starting to die causing the vacuum to cut out multiple times during use. Called Dyson who confirmed that the battery was the problem but rather than ask me to pay around 75 for a genuine replacement suggested that I junk the whole thing and buy a new one. I was really surprised that for the premium that they charge, they think that 3 years is an acceptable product life.So I decided to buy this third party battery and the Dyson is now back to its former glory running long and hard for less than half the price of a Dyson part and significantly less than a new unit.

Given my Dyson a new lease of lifeThe older original battery keep cutting out was an old one lasted well,also the button release on the handle slight pressure would also allow the old battery to come away and Dyson would stop (poor problem from Dyson with some models)This new battery seems a tighter fit and does not release,so up to now keeps goingAnd the price great purchased two and going to buy an other (family)Time will tell but so far great purchase at a great price

Whilst it fitted the Dyson unit, it would not charge. It behaved like the dead battery it was replacing.

Great replacement battery for my handheld Dyson hoover, at very great price. Would highly recommend this battery to anyone looking for a new one. Good delivery time as well, so excellent all rounder seller.
