Berentzen Waldfrucht Schnapps 70 cl

I love this line of Snapps, price goes up and down depending on flavour but they are so nice as a little sippy tipple!

Very mild flavour

I HAVE ALWAYS USED THIS OR OTHER BRERENTZEN SCHNAPPS FOR PUNCHES OR TO LEAVE WITH FRUIT IN A BOWL TO MARINATE OVERNIGHT AS A SWEET. SOME LIKE APPLE SCHNAPPS ARE USED IN GERMANY AS A BEER CHASER.

Very nice but not good value

If you like schnapps and you like pears,give this a try. You will not be disappointed, (unless you only ordered one bottle !)

I've reviewed a couple of the Berentzen schnapps, purchased this on a whim with a party in mind.The negatives: I think of all the schnapps flavours that Berentzen knock out, this one is the evil twin sister of Benylin - you know, the cough syrup stuff. Except, Benylin is supposed to make you better, this one is going to add toward your hangover and cure you of nothing apart from a sudden thumbs up for anything tasting like medicine. It's not the most pleasant of flavours but then, it's not the worst either.The good news: It'll certainly add to any doctor and nursey role play scenarios if medicine is required to be taken and you won't overdose if you take paracetamol soon after. When served properly chilled it's not too bad, especially if you're knocking other stuff back.It's better than Pernod.

Ordered a few bottles of this when it was on offer. It’s a sharp shot but its good fun at parties for those that don’t like shots of vodka etc. Haven’t created any cocktails with it yet so can’t comment on that.

This is a stunning tasting drink, I'm not overly keen on the tast of alchol, but this drink is yummy I'm looking forward to drinking it at Christmas
