So I don't consider myself a coffee snob. More or less an amateur in coffee making but here I am. Now I'm a person that does not like hot coffee. I'm more of a sip and chill coffee dude so my freshly brewed coffee gets ignored and gets cold anyway so might as well have it cold in the first place.Now for the review of this. I've been using this for a 2 weeks now and I'm already down a pound of coffee beans. That doesn't mean that it takes up a lot of coffee though, it's just that my intake for coffee is very high just because this makes my coffee experience a lot easier and faster. Now a method that I found online was that you use 50g of freshly ground coffee for 500ml of water. I make my coffee the night before and by the time I wake up I just pour into my bottle and go out the door. I don't clean it right away because I usually oversleep and need to get out the house as fast as possible. I get back home and I just rinse the filter from the grounds and the pitcher for the excess coffee with water. Simple.I 100% recommend to anyone that loves cold brew, the taste is similar or better to starbuck or blue bottle coldbrew as long as your beans are as high or higher quality. But at the end of the day you'll have a great tasting cold brew and you'll be saving a lot of money from saving all the money you would usually use in a cafe.

Love this thing, super easy to use, I grind 45g at 23 on my Baratza Encore, pre wet the grounds, soak an Aeropress filter and place it on top of the grounds and set the top to 1 drip a second, fill the water to the line. I set it and forget it and put it in the fridge. Mainly run dark, but have tried medium that would taste awful as an immersion brew, but tastes fruity and nuanced when drip brewed. I gave up on my gallon immersion setup and mainly use the Dripster now, with the occasional V60 pour overs during the weekend.

at first, I wasn't sure if 'd want/need an immersion or drip brewer but with this device I can brew however i please. both techniques yield great results but I've found that I like the drip method slightly more. Either way, I would recommend this device to anyone who loves making their own cold brew coffee at home, especially if you're as in decisive as I am.

I have been making cold brew coffee for my family for several years and found that the traditional soaking grounds for 12-18 hour method not only takes a long time... But also uses a lot of coffee. The Dripster offers an equivalently delicious rich concentrate while using a quarter of the ground coffee and is significantly faster.

At this price, it’s a steal. I have tried other cold brewers before purchasing this and most of them leaked water. This is good, no leaking and drip control is good. The flavor was nice. Since you have to rotate the entire top portion to control the drip rate, you have better control.

This brand claim if their water adjustment will always run without needs to re adjust if the water pressure getting low. But not in my unit, i still need to readjust every 10-15 minutes because it's getting slower and slower.

Overcomplicated with no payoff. I was expecting a simpler version of a Kyoto drip, or at least a comparable quality to a standard submersion cold brew maker, but it simply isn't up to the task. The coffee came out watery and bland. I tried both the full immersion and drip methods, but this product simply does not make good coffee.

One of the easiest drip cold brew Maker's I've ever owned. It just gets a little fickle towards the end of the water. I just wish it was more glass and less plastic

Provato questo tipo di caffè in un bar ho comprato subito la "macchinetta" si presenta bene, occupa relativamente ppco spazio. La caraffa in vetro da trattare con cura perché sembra (sembra) fragile. La parte superiore è di plastica. Si regola bene la quantità di gocce, basta prendere la mano e dopo due o tre volte capite bene come agire.Due attenzioni come consiglio: non compattare MAI il caffè nel filtro grosso, nemmeno con un colpettino sul tavolo, altrimenti non funziona bene (e ve ne accorgete dopo poco); seconda cosa bagnare molto bene e uniformemente la superficie superiore all'inizio, in modo che poi il caffè bagni tutto il caffè completo, altrimenti si rischia di avere zone asciutte, anche col filtro di carta aggiuntivo sopra, che aiuta, ma non basta.Non ho ancora provato la modalità col filtro piccolo x infusione, ma non credo ci saranno sorprese, funziona tutto a meraviglia.

Hola! Me gusta bastante . Fácil limpieza y preparación de los cafés. Le pongo solo una pega que no está graduada por ejemplo cada 100ml de líquido obtenido en la jarra . Sería de gran utilidad para dosificar mis cócteles con café. Gracias!

L'évolution depuis la première version du Dripster est spectaculaire :- design désormais solide et qui inspire confiance- volume augmenté. le volume est plutôt intéressant- plus difficile de le faire déborder. La première version débordait souvent dans le frigo- la boisson, toujours au top.Mais :- ne tient pas dans une porte de frigo standard. C'est nettement plus large qu'une brique de lait. Vu que le concept est de faire du café glacé, ça enlève une grosse partie de l'utilité.

### Vorwort ###Ich hatte schon etwas länger die erste Version des Dripsters ins Auge gefasst. Da ich allerdings bisher sehr selten Cold Drip zubereitet/getrunken habe, war ich mir unsicher, ob sich die Anschaffung wirklich lohnen würde.Umso erfreuter war ich, als ich von der neuen Ausführung mit der Möglichkeit neben Cold Drip auch Cold Brew zuzubereiten.Dies bringt nicht nur mehr Möglichkeiten in der Kaffeezubereitung sondern ermöglicht auch die Zubereitung von Tee.### Verarbeitung / Qualität ###Alle gelieferten Teile machen einen soliden, gut verarbeiteten Eindruck.Die Karaffe ist aus Glas und hat einen Glasgriff. Ob dieser gefällt oder nicht ist Geschmackssache. Mich stört dieser nicht, ich hätte es aber auch nicht schlecht gefunden, eine schlanke Karaffe ohne Griff zu haben.Der recht große Durchmesser von circa 12,5cm könnte bei einigen Kühlschränken zu Problemen führen. Bei mir passt der gesamte Dripster aber gut in die Tür.Das Tropfventil lässt sich einfach und zuverlässig einstellen. Es kann unter Umständen passieren, dass sich im Ventil eine Luftblase bildet, welche das Tropfverhalten negativ beeinflusst und blockiert.Dies lässt sich aber einfach und zuverlässig Lösen indem man das Ventil einmal kurz weiter öffnet um mit mehr Wasser die Luft aus dem Ventil zu bekommen, folgend die Lösungsbeschreibung von Dripster:"Die Lösung: Bei der Benutzung des DRIPSTER das Ventil erstmal kurz sehr weit aufdrehen, bis ein konstanter Strahl hindurchrinnt. Dann langsam schließen, bis es nur noch tropft und dann vorsichtig die Geschwindigkeit einstellen. Damit haben alle Testexemplare die Geschwindigkeit gehalten und sind vollständig durchgetropft - inkl. der DRIPSTER, bei denen wir eine sehr langsame Tropfgeschwindigkeit (1 Tropfen alle 3 Sekunden) eingestellt haben. Auch Vibrationen und mehrere Stöße zwischendrin änderten daran nichts. "Der Wassertank ist aus Plastik, allerdings macht dies einen hochwertigen Eindruck und passt optisch super zu der Glaskaraffe. Bei naher Betrachtund und Anfassen merkt merkt man aber natürlich, dass es sich "nur" um Plastik handelt.Die Filter sind ebenfalls top verarbeitet und durch das doppelwandige System landen so gut wie keine Fines (also kleine Kaffeepartikel) im fertigen Brew.Alle Teile lassen sich super einfach durch einfaches Abspülen mit klarem Wasser reinigen. Nach 3 - 4 Benutzungen packe ich die Sachen in die Spülmaschine um die Kaffeeöle vernünftigen zu entfernen.### Ergebnis in der Tasse ###Der Vorteil von Cold Drip und Cold Brew ist es, dass man einen sehr runden teils fruchtigen Kaffee in die Tasse bekommt, ohne dabei viel Säure zu extrahieren. Dadurch eignen sich vorallem helle Röstungen aus Afrika sehr gut für diese Methode.Durch die vielen Möglichkeiten, die der Dripster² bietet (Cold Drip in 2 oder mehr als 6 Stunden, Cold Brew mit bis zu 12 Stunden Zeit) bin ich derzeit noch viel am probieren und auf der Suche nach meinem Lieblingsrezept.Die Zuverlässigkeit des Ventils, wodurch auch mit abnehmender Wassermenge die Tropfrate konstant bleibt, hilft hierbei ungemein ein reproduzierbares Ergebnis zu erhalten und direkt beim Einstellen schon das passende Setting für die gewünschte Zubereitung zu schaffen, ohne nachjustieren zu müssen.Mir hat bis jetzt jeder Versuch geschmeckt. Natürlich ist es wichtig, dass man den Mahlgrad der gewünschten Zeit entsprechend anpasst, die Einstellungen am Dripster sind dann aber kinderleicht.Einen Cold Brew Tee habe ich bislang noch nicht getestet, kann hierzu also noch nichts sagen. Basierend auf meinem bisherigen Eindruck gehe ich aber davon aus, dass dieser ebenso leicht und gut gelingen wird wie Cold Drip/Cold Brew Kaffee.### Fazit ###Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Produkt. Gut verarbeitet, sehr fairer Preis und im Bereich der kalten Zubereitung sehr flexibel.Von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!
