Squirrel Stopper Olympic/Shenandoah Bird Feeder Post w/ 3 Hanging Stations

Absolutely perfect. Great design. Easy install. After a year the materials are lasting. Minor oxidation on the paint but no visible rust or exposed metal. And it works. We have three of these and lots of squirrels. Have never seen a single squirrel get up the pole.

I live in a heavily treed sub division in the middle of a rural area. I purchased this pole because I needed to deal with an ever increasing squirrel problem in addition to attracting many different types of wild birds.Installation was extremely easy and quick. It's sturdy and has not moved in heavy winds and rain. The squirrel baffle on this is metal.I purchased an extra arm from the Squirrel Stopper website so I could hang 4 feeders. Currently, I've got a suet log, peanut pieces feeder, finch feeder, and an all purpose large feeder hanging. I am now enjoying watching many types of birds and saving money on feed.The large feeder while full weighs over 10 lbs and the arm hasn't had a problem with it in varying degrees of windy and rainy weather.My only gripe is that the extra pole I ordered for this model has a different type of coating on it, and has a much tighter fit on the pole. This has scraped the coating off the pole to bare metal and will create rust. The other poles that came with it allow me to lower to raise them on the pole by pushing up on them. It's easy to remove the feeders for filling this way.

The product is made well. It's been up for a week now and the squirrels have tried but been unsuccessful in trying to get up it. When it arrived it was missing one hook out of the 3. I contacted the company and they promptly sent one out. Would highly recommend!

this product is wonderful. I was going through twenty pounds of bird seed every week. The squirrels were using my bird feeders for a trapeze act and slinging bird seed everywhere! Since I have put this out the squirrels have moved on to my mother in law's yard... tee hee hee ..... sorry!

I’ve only had the squirrel stopper for two days and I still can’t believe this actually works! I’ve had this battle going on with the squirrels for a year now (since moving to this home) and tried everything. After heavy research, decided in a desperate attempt to spend the money on a bird pole with squirrel baffle. It was bad. The squirrels would clean house before I would wake up, destroyed a couple feeders, I even bought them their own squirrel feeder. They only wanted the bird food.Squirrel stopper was easy to assemble, it’s very strong, sturdy and solid. The day I installed it, there was a big storm that came in and pole and feeders didn’t move. The arms are very sturdy which is nice because the birds like the perch there. I couldn’t figure out how to get the arms on the pole (it uses some sort of corkscrew technique). I watched a 30 second video then it was a piece of cake. Not complaint about this, I just couldn’t figure it out with instructions but understood right away when I saw it online.Next morning I woke up, everything still in its place and the squirrels in their own feeder! I still can’t believe this. Now the squirrels stay on the ground and eat the food that has fallen. I haven’t seen the squirrels trying to get up it, I’m sure they tried. After I assembled the product, I kept the box because I was skeptical. I’m a very impressed happy customer, so happy I couldn’t wait to post a review.

I have been waiting to write a review because I did not want to jinx my luck but it has been over a week now and the squirrels are not even trying to get up on the feeder! The first two days they tried to jump onto it from a near by deck or tree but would give up or fall, and some even tried to climb up the pole. Now they just sit on the ground and eat the leftovers from the birds, which is the quite opposite of what was happening for the past two years.I have more birds than even in my yard because there is actually food in the feeder. I definitely recommend this product - it not only works but it is of sturdy construction and looks nice too!

This product is made of heavy metal with superb anti-rusting coating. However, I can't respond to its use yet because we are having difficulty mounting the arms. Instructions are good for most of the assembly, but lacking in the exact approach to installing the arms. The instructions don't expand on the logic of how the spirals fit the pole. Will be contacting company for more information. It looks like it is what we really want to solve our squirrel problem.

Well made unit, but so difficult to install. Could never get pole screwed into ground per instructions, impossible. Putting the bird feeder arms on, scratched the unit, and hard to install. Will have to hire some one to dig a post hole deep enough for the unit. Took about two hours, a call to to the manufacturer, and the video to get the thing somewhat in the ground.
