Lots of Uses for a great price,
I have this installed and working as a night ringer, loud ringer for a shop (VoiP) phone, and multicast paging. That's just 1 unit. Easy to set up. Love that it can run from PoE, or 12 Vdc, and drive a speaker as well. So easy! Cable with Mini Headset jack from the recording port of the PA2, to an RCA jack to the input of an external Amp will get you 95% of what you want. I will be buying more of these down the road. I can see a dozen or so uses for these.

An amazingly versatile VoIP public address SIP terminal adapter
This device has everything you could ask for: a PoE SIP TA that directly drives public address speakers through a built-in amp at up to 30 W, line-out audio if you want to driver a more powerful stand-alone amp, relay contacts for remote control of lights or doors, and the ability to run this inline on an existing camera Ethernet drop, using a pass-through RJ-45 port. And it does all this in the smallest form factor out there for PA amplifiers. Plenty of audio and auto-answer state mechanics as well, so you can make this work in just about any PA application. Brilliant.

Unit is supported and compatible with 3CX, our PBX self-hosted system. Would have been nice if the unit was set to DHCP from the factory, but still no problem. Setup a PC with a static IP address in the 192.168.1.0/24 range and navigate to 192.168.1.128 to log into the web interface. Use admin/admin. Go to system/Networking and set it to DHCP addressing. Set your PC back to DHCP and go to the web page at the new address. I use the excellent Advanced IP Scanner, a free download, to find the new address.For 3CX, you'll need an compatible firmware for the PA2 to install first, then from the admin console of 3CX assign the new device to a paging group, then BAM! all set. Works great!
