Durable and Reliable Thus Far
As a 5th grade teacher, I purchased 44 Microtella fitness trackers via funds provided by a grant, for the two 5th grade classes at our little neighborhood school. Here are my thoughts after one quarter of use (about 2 & a half months):1) The fitness trackers have many readings that our students record in a data book each day: daily steps taken, total miles walked, and calories burned. We use these numbers for Math, such as adding decimals (miles walked), column addition, and figuring differences from week to week (subtraction).2) Students record daily resting and maximum heart rates as this is a feature on the fitness tracker. Very cool!3) Students are able to use the stop watch to time their mile runs twice a month. They use a bar chart in a data book to graph times; average times are computed at the end of the quarter.4) The tracker also has a watch, and there are four choices of style. The digital selection has big, easy to read numbers5) Of the 44 fitness trackers, only one had to be returned due to a frozen screen. Thankfully, this happened within the window in which returns were allowed.6) Twice the screens froze while the students were active in the camera mode. Since these students did not have cell phones with app, (probably?) the screen froze. I was able to reboot one, using the VeryFitPro app that accompanies this product. The other, as said, needed to be replaced. I tell my students not to enter the camera mode if they want to keep a working fitness tracker.7) All 44 fitness trackers, used daily, have held up well over this 2 and a half month time frame, and we are very pleased. The rubber wrist bands have held up, too (only one clasp broke out of 44 and I had to purchase a replacement).8) The boxes the product comes in are very sturdy and hold up with daily opening and closing, twice a day, in the morning when students take the trackers out, and in the afternoon when they put them away before dismissal. After 2 and a half months, no signs of wear and tear.9) One CON if purchasing more than one fitness tracker: you must have a cell phone with the accompanying app to set time, length of steps, activity modes, units of measurement, language, time mode, etc. I had to bind/unbind 44 fitness trackers using only my one cell phone to set them all up. This took most of one Saturday. Ugh. It would be a huge plus if the company developed an app, or downloadable software on a laptop, that permitted multiple trackers to stay connected, each with its own identifiable number. We also had to purchase multi-port USB hubs to charge the 44 fitness trackers. That was an extra $200. The battery on the fitness tracker lasts a good 4-5 days though, so that’s a plus. Girls and boys charge on alternate days. We will power them off over long holiday breaks away from school.Overall, we 5th grade teachers are quite pleased with the performance of these Microtella fitness trackers. We will see if the excellent performance holds up all year, and esp if they hold up for a second or third year.

Not a very accurate pedometer
I bought this after having a brand name fitbit that I was not happy with. I could never get the fitbit to sync properly to my electronic device. I bought a similar product for my seven year old son, who loved his. I liked this product because of how the electronic bit detached from the plastic band to charge. I hoped that it could perhaps be tucked into my bra (instead of wearing it on my wrist) as my Weight Watcher Activity Tracker (that I dearly loved but don't want to have to pay a monthly fee to use!!) did.I am disappointed. I wake up from a dead sleep and 219 steps. How did that happen? Did I sleep walk in the middle of the night? Even on days when I am not very active, I will easily get 10,000 steps. I can move my wrist up and down a few times and 40 steps will be added to the count.I like the design of the device, but usefulness is very limited. It is only good for a relative comparison of days when I am more or less active. It is not an accurate counter of steps.

You probably want something else, don't pay attention to the review numbers.
I bought this to try out the step counter, heart rate monitor, and sleep monitor. I only used the unit for one day so far and it reported 11843 steps so far. I started by wearing the device before going to sleep. When I woke up, it reported around 200 steps. When I took a shower, it added about 400 steps. It obviously tracks arm movement too much. As for the heart rate monitor, I would say it seems accurate. My stats normally run low so the low of 49 is reasonable. The day's avg was 65 and peak of 121, without any workout. When the info stated you charge by USB, I was expecting to plug a microusb cable into the device. Instead, you have "rip" the unit out of the band and plug it directly into a usb port. As for the algorithm to determine the sleep modes, it seems as simple as being based off of any movement. My total deep sleep was calculated as being near 2 hrs for an "8" hr sleep window. One reviewer mentioned not being able to change the stride length, well at least with my unit (which came with up-to-date firmware) the app was able to adjust it. It would be interesting if I had a unit attached to my leg near to ankle if it would have reported the steps more accurately. You get what you pay for!

not savy
I am not quite computer savvy, so it took awhile to even get to turn it on. The small instruction booklet that came with phone was no help, nor the videos on their website. Have found an instruction manual on their website and that has helped. I would suggest not purchasing the watch unless you are computer savvy. I still have two weeks so send it back.

Just stopped working after having for only 4 months!
I was pretty happy with this product until 2 days ago! It has totally stopped working! Cannot charge it or get it to go on. It hasn't been dropped or mistreated. It was bought for my son for his birthday and he loved it :( Very disappointed.

Okay watch.
I bought this watch for my mom. She says she loves it. However there are some things about it that are annoying. Like the way you have to charge it. You have to take off the band and either plug it into your computer like a USB or plug into your charge port like a USB.

Keeps time okay
Doesn't do much else. Alarm worked a few times. Counted a lot of steps in my sleep, not so many when I was actually walking. I didn't figure out how to use some of the other features; maybe they work. It's attractive, and that's something.
