Nice magnifier box
Some use this box for bugs for kids to observe. I bought these to display small rocks. I like them. The covers don’t slip off. They are well made. I wish they had them in larger sizes as well. They are a great buy!

clear as crystal and beautiful
These little cubes are just what I wanted. They are objects of beauty in themselves. One now houses the carpenter bee I found dead on the sidewalk - perfectly shaped and lovely. The magnifying lens in the lid allows me to see the veins on her amber wings and her delicate legs. I can view her from all sides, though only the top is magnified. The price was right and the product is what was promised.

Perfect for collecting!
My boys dissected some owl pellets and needed a place to store the rodent bones. These were perfect! They all had well-fitting lids, so no worries about losing anything, and the magnifying glass make viewing the contents easily. I will definitely be purchasing more as their dead bug and other natural items collections grow.

Great learning tools!
These are great! I bought these for my three young grandsons, ages 1 1/2, 4 and 6. They are intrigued by bugs and living in a rural area we have plenty. These are sturdy and stay closed. They are small enough for small hands but definitely do magnify whatever you choose to put inside. They allow my grandsons to safely view cool bugs. A great learning tool for all ages. I will be buying more.

Doesn’t snap shut! Need tape!
Careful! The lids do NOT snap closed or adhere to the box in anyway. You need to use a bit of Scotch tape to keep the lids on or the box will easily fall apart and your bug will get out.Otherwise, lots of fun! We caught a Southern House Spider in the laundry room this evening and my toddler was very excited to get to see the spider. Fortunatley, I’d taped the box shut because she ran into her room with it and wanted to take her spider to bed! LOL! Box lids give a nice, clear, magnified image. The boxes only fit small insects and arachnids. Get this set and a roll of scotch tape and you’ll have a blast watching these boxes.

Really like them! I teach pre K and the boxes ...
Really like them! I teach pre K and the boxes are the perfect size for the little hands to hold and allow them to see insects up close. I have a collection of dry bugs I collected from a greenhouse and wanted to share with my class of four year olds for our unit on insects. These boxes are perfect!! I'm going back and look to see if you have one big enough for the butterflies.
