IncrediBuilds: Star Wars: R2-D2 3D Wood Model

I got this as a gift for a friend and she assembled it swiftly. She decided to keep it as is, unpainted, which gives it a rustically paradoxical appearance (woody space age android?). It looks cool on her desk!

It was fun and easy to put together I just figured it would have been a little bigger

So I picked this up on a whim.. totally worth it. I had a great time putting it together. Just be careful with the underside when assembling. If you don't have it set it properly the front R2 foot will not fit properly. The model is small so do not be surprised. Just be gentle when putting it together and enjoy the book and the ideas on how you can paint your R2 unit. The unit is small, its about 4 inches tall.
