A fine addition to my collection
As someone who did not purchase this product when a very similar model came out in 2014, I was very pleased to see that this product was being released along side its counterpart, 75233 Droid Gunship.Starting with the minifigures, this set comes with 5: Clone Commander Gree, a Clone Scout Trooper, Chewbacca, and 2 Kashyyyk Battle Droids. The battle droids are actually AAT pilots in the Star Wars canon, but they are a welcome change from the regular battle droids, with olive green torsos and some very crisp olive green and dark green head printing. Clone Commander Gree is very similar to the previous iterations of the character, and is just as good as before. His helmet is molded in the dark pearl gray color, with some exquisite printing, which even includes some weathering on the helmet paint. His torso is just as detailed as the helmet, and includes some sharp leg printing. Nicely complementing his commander is a Kashyyyk Clone Trooper, who has appeared in a number of previous sets. Lastly comes Chewbacca, since this takes place on his home planet during Episode III. All 5 minifigures include adequate weapons. The walker itself was a fun build. A variety of techniques are used to create the unique angles of the cockpit, and the result is a beauty to behold. This walker is pretty much a mobile gun emplacement, and as such it possesses a retractable third leg for stability when firing. Lego accurately reproduces this, and the leg securely folds up and stays folded when not in use. The interior cockpit is quite roomy and allows ample seating for two clones, and includes control panels for each, along with a large targeting screen showing the Droid Gunship in the walker's sights. The cockpit can be easily accessed by flipping back the roof of the walker on a hinge mechanism, allowing for full access. To allow the clones to get in as they would in reality, there are hinged cockpit hatches on either side to allow access. The two main legs are mirror images of each other, and are posable only at a single hinge close to the body of the walker. The other points of articulation are only implied. This does limit display to only a few configurations, so if you are planning on creating a very dynamic battle scene, this might be something to consider. The main gun on the top of the walker is absolutely massive. It does experience just a little bit of sag under its own weight, but nothing terribly distracting. There is a neat little system that locks the cannon in place, as the cannon can both swivel and change its elevation. This is also easy to disengage. As a play feature, the gunner's seat also has a spring-loaded missile launcher, which is hidden fairly well within the build when the missile itself is not present. The one gripe I do have with this part of the build is that the cannon only has a range of motion from pointing right at the walker's feet (great play feature for blasting the included droids!) to being roughly parallel with the ground. It would be nice to angle it upwards to shoot enemies from the sky (this can kind of be done by rotating the legs so the entire body points upward).Overall, this set comes with some superb minifigures and faithfully captures the look of the source material. It lacks some poseability, but not enough to sully my opinion of the overall product. Amazon in particular sells this product at a very fair price, as even the retail price of $59.99 is reasonable. I highly recommend this product.

I bought one of the lasts ones
Before they went off sale and was only being sold by third-party sellers I bought this set for a discounted price of $48 for 689 pieces. Even if it wasn't discounted at $60 it would still be one hell of a deal as for a set of this many pieces with 5 mini figures would usually cost much more. It took around 3 hours to make and wasn't too tricky to assemble. It is pretty sturdy especially comparing to the 2008 model and the 2014 model and still offers a lot of play ability. I am very happy with my purchase.

An awesome walker set
A cool set, glad I got it. Wish I had gotten it sooner though, before the price went up. As you see on the box it has three legs, but can stand on just two. My one holdup is that the main cannon's range of motion is very limited, and doesn't really pivot up or down. That aside if you're a star wars fan, or just like cool sci-fi toys/collectibles, you'll enjoy this product.

Hard to break
Very sturdy when fully constructed, can stand fine on 2 legs instead of the 3 it comes with. Wobbles, but will not fall. Good value for what you get, considering manufacturing/labor costs. Perfect for the bookshelf or the battlefield :)

Exposed back
I loved this set, for a manchild that collects legos.my only problem with this set is that it has a very open back and a wobbly front leg but other than that this set is awsome

Excellent
Great set. Would have preferred some more clones or a different wookie instead of Chewbacca again, but that's a minor point. The Amazon price beats the Lego.com one by more than enough and the build itself was really satisfying. I have built hundreds of Legos, most Star Wars, and many 2k+ pieces. This one is a stand out and was both fun and unique. I'd highly recommend it.
