This camera has very good image quality and a powerful zoom-in capability. Mine is connected via WiFi, and setting it up was challenging. Once running, I found the iOS app very touchy for panning & tilting, making precise aiming difficult. The tilt motion ranges from horizontal to straight down viewing, but does not support looking up above the horizontal.My camera is mounted outdoors near an AC outlet where it is plugged in.I used the Windows-based Camera Locator from Microseven, and while it is not exactly user friendly, it works. Beware that configuring the WiFi connection must be done every time the camera loses power, because the camera IP address changes when power is cycled. That means reconnecting to a physical Ethernet cable, rerunning the Camera Locator on the network, configuring for WiFi, and then disconnecting the Ethernet cable, all at the camera’s outdoor location. Forget about configuring it indoors and then unplugging and mounting the camera outdoors, because that means cycling power.Remote viewing from an iPhone using the Microseven app is easy. Remote panning and tilting from that app is imprecise, and response time is slow, so aiming accurately at a specific spot is very difficult.This camera is a better fit for a customer with a lot of technical skills, and is not a good fit for someone wanting a simple plug & play setup experience. Professional installation may be a good choice for many.5/19/19 update: a brief power outage is all it takes to lose WiFi connectivity, and to keep the camera offline until you reconfigure the camera using a wired internet connection. As a security camera this is a major negative, so I lowered my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars. It may serve well as a wired camera (IDK), but as a wireless camera it is flawed.

Wanted a PTZ a camera for my front yard but had a budget that I needed to stay within. The Microseven PTZ camera was within my budget and it exceeded my expectations. With 20X optical zoom, full rotation and tilt, can see my entire yard and front door. Was easy to install only needing ethernet cable with POE. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a POE PTZ IP Camera!
