Red Devil1170 PLEXIGLASS Scoring Tool, 1 Pack

These have come in very handy, for when I have needed to cut acrylic glass and acrylic mirrors (both standard silver, as well as 2-way ones). It does take several passes in order to score the acrylic for snapping, and a modicum of pressure whilst scoring, but I find that they work well enough for my needs.I use them in my hobby crafts, for which they seemto be quite adequate, however, I am not so sure if they would be ideal, or appropriate, if used in a more 'industrial' capacity, where something more accurate, heavy duty and robust may well be a better option?

Yes it cuts perspex, but by scoring!! You need to repeat the score multiple times, it's not like cutting butter!! And use some meaningful effort

Got it thought is look used and abused, requested refund and to return it. They said keep it sent another. These do not look good, but they work perfectly.

Initially poor performance, but .grinding the flat nose section made cutting easy

Excelente cuter solo que si hay que echarle ganas dándole varias pasadas hasta que hace un surco que permita la separación. Yo lo use para un acrílico grueso y funciono Perfecto!Hay que hacer muy bien los primeros trazados para que haga una guía fácil de seguir. Yo utilice una regla metálica para los primeros 8 trazos. Se necesita paciencia, pero finalmente se logra el corte.
