This is way better than the green cheaper model
I had first bout the green razor for the younger age group at 150. It was tiny and not to age description. It barely fit my 3 year old. The speed of it was way to fast, so I returned and tried this, paying that bit extra is absolutely worth it, it’s made better the mechanics are better, the sizing is better and it doesn’t have that horrid kick to it that the other one did! My husband is 5’8 and just comfortably rode this up and down the street to test it. He said the brakes are sharp so that’s something to take into account with the kids! Slowly apply them or they could end up over the handle bars. The charge isn’t the best but from what I’ve seen in reviews it’s standard charge time for these scooters. Will update this if any issues arise

Good purchase
Looks good, great for speed and 8 y.o daughter loves this however it only goes at 1 speed and can't go slower...therefore it is disappointing as she is always way ahead of others and can't go at walking pace like other e-scooters. Also very noisy in comparison to other electric scooters we pass.

Check before you send back!
When I went to charge this it showed fully charged straight away even though the instructions said to charge for 12 hours so I charged for a few hours anyway, however on Christmas Day when my daughter tried it it was completely dead. Tried to charge again and the same thing happened. Disappointing, I decided to investigate and once I opened the battery compartment I found a spade connector for the battery was not connected, once this was reconnected the scooter took a full charge and has been great since, maybe I got unlucky and this one slipped through quality control.

Wow, this is brilliant
Wow, this is brilliant!. Just got this for my Son who is 11, he's been wanting an electric scooter for ages. Saw this Razor one on the TV the other day & prompted him to start asking to invest his birthday money in one of these. We looked around and decided this Razor was the best of those available under £200. He's not disappointed. Razor is renowned for quality and design, they have thought of everything, it has a great safety feature that means you can't start it by accident. The best bit for me is the clever 'hub' motor which drives the back wheel. This is a totally new concept where the motor is attached to the back wheel meaning no external moving parts like chains etc to go wrong. He hasn't got off it since he got home from School - it's surprisingly nippy. I've even had a go, even though I'm slightly over the max recommended age and weight range! - I had no problem using it at all. Would thoroughly recommend, may even get one for myself

Great product
Only issue I have really is the power is on or off so you can't accelerate slowly which makes it hard for my son to get used to it

great scooter but speed should be adjustable
great scooter but speed should be adjustable. Its on and off no gradual acceleration. 2 changes would make this 5 star. 2 speed setting slow and fast and also adjustable height. Not hard to add them.My son 7 loves it its just right for him but it was for his sister 6 and its a bit fast for her. She will get used to it.Worth buying for 7 year plus. it is fast and its a sudden fast speed when it kicks in.

Great electric scooter!
My tall 7 year old loves this scooter. Took her a few minutes to get used to it. Its fast and takes a bit of getting used to the throttle on the handle bar.Got her full safety pads and helmet to go with it. Definitely needed if she falls off.Smart looking, easy to charge. Good quality scooter. Id say suitable for age 8+.

Great product, only problem is that the power is ...
Great product, only problem is that the power is all or nothing. For young kids, with little experience, it runs away as soon as they apply power. It would be better if it at least had a a couple of power settings, or a "Beginners" switch to limit the power and speed. They will get used to it and certainly have lots of fun.
