An outstanding one-piece travel hoop from Echo, this folds down to half the size of a standard hoop and folds out to a 90cm standard hoop. Using a thinner 20mm tubing and a 90cm outer diameter these hoops are a great all-rounder, being big enough and substantial enough to keep momentum going without being so heavy that kids can't use it. These hoops are all decorated with super bright coloured fabric grip tape in a range of exciting colours. This gives the hoop a bit of extra grip around your waist, and protects the tubing inside. Using these hoops on concrete or tarmac can quickly damage this tape however, so if you want to keep it pristine, stick to grass. These hoops have a simple push button locking connector. This connector allows the hoop to be undone and doubled up to make it much easier to carry around when on the move. By following the instructions on the attached slip you can collapse and expand this hoop in a matter of seconds, making it the easiest way to travel with a hoop! The Echo Travel hoop is the first travel hoop with a specially curved aluminium connector, meaning no flat spots without having to sacrifice strength! On first opening and assembly these hoops may need to sit in their full size for a little while to resume a fully circular shape, and to maintain this shape we recommend that they only be collapsed for travel after first use. Hoop Diameter (OD) - 90cm (35.5in), Tube - HDPE, Tube Diameter - 20mm (0.8in), Decoration - ProGrip, Hoop Weight - 260g (9.1oz).

Great hoop for shorties
This is a great choice for a beginner hula hoop for those of less than average adult height. I'm 5 foot petite and chose this hoop because the diameter is just right, it is proportional for me, but not too small for learning to waist hoop (which is easier the bigger the hoop is). I went to lessons and found the beginner hoops there a bit too big, and for me, too heavy for off body tricks using your hands. So I decided to bring this hoop to the lesson. It was great! I can waist hoop, jump through, go from waist to lasso and do all kinds of off body tricks easier with this hoop. For travel, I recommend unpopping the connector, but NOT squeezing the hoop completely in half or joining it back up. Instead just ease it down to a manageable size that doesn't put excess strain on the hoop, then wrap something around it to secure. I used a bungee cord and popped it in a bag-for-life! I later found out some of the pros have recommended doing exactly this for button connector hoops. My hoop goes back into shape really nicely, and if it's a little uneven it soon becomes perfect again with a bit of use. Also I would only store these at full size.It comes down to what you want out of your hoop:- If you want the easiest time learning to waist hoop, you would be better going for a bigger and heavier hoop. Saying that, I'm considering adding an extra row of grip tape to mine for a little more weight.- If you prefer to do lots of off body/isolation tricks, you're probably better off with a naked hoop without the grip tape.- If you're a shorty like me, learning on body AND off body at the same time and need one hoop to do both, I think this one is great. And best of all you can easily take it with you.

Bit of a let down!
I had previously purchased a hoopmania hula hoop at just a couple of pound more and this one on paper seemed to be on par just a little cheaper so I went for it. It was a gift for someone who loved mine so was hoping for the same standard. When the hula hoop arrived I immediately felt a little disappointed as it was certainly no where near as robust and felt a little cheap. The fabric will almost certainly come away and it is also quite a challenge to 'collapse and transport'. I definitely feel this is over priced and I would 100% recommend anybody to go for the hoopmania which I will also be writing a review on shortly.

Biggest waste of money!
Rarely write a review but feel have to in this instance. Really disappointed with this product, its not that easy to unfold but more importantly whatever it is coated in comes off! Do not use this inside and wear old clothes! Black scuff marks on floor and wall just by dropping it, pretty standard using a hula hoop?! Used once now banished to the garage for the next trip to the tip, total waste of money!

This is not a weighted hoop
I didn't read carefully enough and thought for the price that this would be a weighted hoop- it isn't!!! So, very expensive for a common - although portable- hoola hoop. I'll need to replace this with a weighted one. You can hoop for ages with weighted ones- can manage about 11 seconds with this one , sadly.

Great quality. Nice hoop.
Great hoop, I haven't tried disassembling mine yet but as a hoop it's very good.

Too light
The product is way too light it's pretty much useless. Don't waste your money, spend the extra £10 and get a decent one
