Cafix Coffee Substitute Crystals Jar 7.05 Ounces

I am new to coffee substitute. I was a morning coffee drinker for years, then I got acid reflux, and had to stop coffee. I miss it. My friend mentioned she drinks coffee substitute Inka. I researched and decided to this product instead. I really like it, while it’s not coffee, the taste reminds me of you if coffee. I add a tablespoon of substitute milk creamer, take not sweetened, and it became my morning ritual. But! The label warns you about high level of acrylamide present because of high temperature roasting process of barley and chicory. Coffee has it too. So knowing this information, I still will continuing having one cup daily and hope it’s doing more good than damage to my body.

I have drunk this stuff, off and on, for years. If you're caffeine sensitive like me, this is great. For me, even decaf coffee disturbs my sleep. You can tell this is not coffee, but it has a similar bitter element in it's taste like coffee. I have tried many coffee substitutes and this is far and away the best.Since I couldn't find the power in my local stores, I switched to the crystals. But since the powder costs less, I tried it again. The powder is fine, but the crystals are better. I didn't think I could tell a difference, but I can. Not a huge difference, but subtly different. However the crystals come in a glass jar whereas the powder comes in a cardboard can-like package. Small difference, but, call me crazy, I really like pulling the inner seal off the can.

On doctors orders NO caffeine at all. After trying several brands this is the only thing close to coffee I could fine.. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!!Will be reordering..

If you absolutely must avoid coffee either because of the caffeine, the acidity, some medical issue or you just don't like the health effects, this is probably the best substitute I have found. It is made of roasted barley, rye, chicory, and sugar beets. One cup (one teaspoon of cafix), has 5 calories, 1 gram of carbohydrates and nothing else. It is, of course, naturally free of caffeine. Honestly, if you are a regular coffee drinker and you are going in to this expecting a delicious cup of coffee you will be disappointed. It simply is not. If you are open minded and are looking for a coffee-like drink that tastes fairly decent Cafix could be just what you are looking for. It can be served hot or cold. It can be mixed with milk, cream, sweeteners, etc. which improve the taste.

Very good. O had to fStop caffeine altogether. The taste doesn't finish like Starbucks but it is a really good substitute. Put half and half in and you cannot tell the difference.

Good product, at a good price for a coffee substitute

I am a very heavy coffee drinker . Probably 3-4 sometimes 5 cups a day . I was tired of getting that slump feeling towards middle of day where I would usually have an another coffee. I decided for my health to stop this habit . This stuff is amazing , tastes exactly like coffee but better . No bitter taste . Easy to dissolve in water . Even has a nice foam top as if it was a cup of “ freshly brewed coffee” not to mention the product has amazing natural ingredients. I will be definitely sticking to this for a while !

Very good coffee substitute, but the granuals version is much better than the powder.The Granuals come in a green can or jar.
