KYBERS Standard Series Light Saber with Metal Hilt Force FX Heavy Dueling Sabre Sword (Ataru-RGB)

I was hesitant to pay right at $200 what would appear to be nothing more than a toy but the more I thought about it I was convinced it was well worth the money so I gave in and bought it. For one, I'm into light painting and I wanted a good light wand. Sure, you can make your own and I did but it just doesn't compare. You can't hit it against something and get the effect this light saber makes nor change colors on demand and you can tell from the pics that it's bright enough for light painting. I don't know about the cheaper model that's less powerful, I had doubts about it being bright enough for light painting so I just said F it and bought this to be sure.It looks good, sounds great and feels nice, I can grab it with both hands. My best friend freaked out when he saw it, he said it would be great for a Darth Vader costume. Best freakin' toy you'll ever have!

If you want a lightsaber that has lights, flash on clash, lock up effects, RGB color changing LED, sound effects AND a plug in charging port then you're seriously not going to get a better deal than something sturdy like the Standard Lightsabers offered here (I bought the "Ataru").I'm giving it 4/5 Stars considering the context of what you're getting.If you're someone on a budget and don't want to shell out $400-1200+ for a premium high end lightsaber from Electrum Sabercrafts, Vader's Vault, Genesis Customs for example and want something with more play value and dueling capabilities than the fragile toy crap that Hasbro offers then I recommend this product for your purposes- you get a durable fun toy that can be used to wack each other with & play Jedi vs Sith etc and function as a bright torch during power outages.Pros:RGB LEDFlash on Clash (hit something and blade flashes)Lock Up (has to switch to lock up mode using button)SoundsBasic motion swing detectionPlug in chargingIncludes Sturdy trans white bladeCons:Obviously because this is a budget $200 beater lightsaber with all these features crammed in...Sound is a weak point for someone use to a $600 lightsaber so it's just passable.One Button for everything is annoying and makes using the other features like clashing and controlling settings very painful and complicated- not fun to use.Colors are basic, not very pretty.Hilt Design kinda boring and ugly, even painful- I had to unscrew the annoying "vent grip" part on the handle and take it off because the edges were sharp and uncomfortable to hold.Conclusion:I recommend this product over any Hasbro lightsaber toy. You get to play rough, have fun and not worry about breaking the lightsaber.

When comparing this saber to many other manufactures functionality, versatility, and fun, the Kybers saber cannot be beat. The variety of lights and sounds alone far exceeds other products for significant cost savings. Many other manufactures charge you separate for sound boards and may only provide 1 color. The handles are detailed and well constructed, but may not be as elaborate or have as many intricacies of others, but honestly its all about sounds and light show!! The versatility of combing two sabers for the cost of 1 from some of the other manufactures is pretty great.

After purchasing a basic rgb..I purchased the standard rgb...now this one is a lightsaber...the hilt is nicely crafted with substance and heft..The blade is bright and vibrant.The sounds are very coolFOC..5 sound fonts and I think 11 colors..very Cool...This is the second saber I've purchased and I'm sure there will be more..For the money it's a great saber..

[My Story]: Started when I purchased two (2) Lightsabers with a FREE coupler from SELLER: Saber Studio, through AMAZON Prime, for SHOW during last Year's Halloween.Now that those Lightsabers were gifted to other family members I decided on obtaining a replacement for this year's Halloween.My order of another two (2) Lightsabers with FREE coupler was through SaberMach at the beginning of September 2020 with a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks.However, from an e-Mail reply to check on the status, after 6 weeks, my order was not completed due to the Custom Special Service requests:A) to reduce both lengh of the 36" blades down to 24" for me to easily wielded (SPIN) in Staff configuration, andB) to customize the Coupler, which is FREE when ordering two (2) Lightsabers, so that the external hilt components are in ALIGNMENT when both lightsabers are securely connected.With one week before Halloween 2020 I searched AMAZON and started to review the listing for the Standard Series Atrau-RGB lightsaber from KYBERS!Although, I personally prefer lightsabers in Staff configuration, there were no customization services offered by SELLER: KYBERS for me to request a similar coupler alignment customization.Nevertheless, my AMAZON order was placed on Sunday, then delivered within three (3) days the following Tuesday. The scheduled shipping through AMAZON Prime was delivered as expected BUT on Halloween (October 31, 2020) my neighborhood was DEVOID of the typical pedestrian traffic (parents escorting their costumed children).[USER'S GUIDE]: A scanned JPG copy of the packaged INSTRUCTIONS are attached for your reference.Like with my previous Lighsaber purchase, I recommend FULL Discharge and RECHARGE upon receipt then afterwards for maintenance which extended the operation of my Ataru-RGB from 2 to 3 hours of continuous use.[WARNING]: The Ataru-RGB includes a user removable external component covering the hilt's grip with oval vents that are cut to a sharp 90 degree angle.[NOTE]: When ON and quickly SPINNING, the Flash-on-Clash feature intermittently activates causing the Lightsaber to FLASH WHITE (default color) before changing back to the user's LED color setting.If I decide to KEEP the Ataru-RGB received I plan to acquire an [Enhanced] Day Blade (RED) and/or PHOTON Blade (GREEN Only) instead of upgrading to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) KYBERS 36" length version (ASIN: B07WNZ1PKW).However, when I watched an YouTube Video review, the other KYBERS Standard Series owner articulated that aftermarket 1" [Outer Diameter] blades were VERY difficult to install. So, with my Digital Caliper, I measured the Atrau-RGB blade to a proprietary 25mm (0.984252 inch) outer diameter, which is a snug (close) fit, where 25.4mm is 1" in comparison.[CONCLUSION]: I recommend the purchase of an Atrau-RGB, from SELLER: KYBERS through AMAZON Prime ONLY, if you DO NOT PLAN to upgrade to an aftermarket 1" blade. UNLESS you can obtain a customized blade and/or adapter for an 7/8 blade with an 25mm (0.984252 inch) MAXIMUM outer diameter.[SOLUTION]: ContactA) RipperBlades to customize the OUTER DIAMETER (OD) of your Blade!B) SaberMach to request SPECIAL SERVICE to customize your NeoPixel LightSaber(s). However, due to my recent electronic correspondence with SaberMach to obtain repairs & replacement parts for one of the two lightsabers received, I would recommend placing an order from a manufacturer that can provide similar customizations and warranty service within the United States.
