Brilliant film

I always had Chicken Run on Vhs for 20 years, and I never upgraded to DVD because I'm such a retro person. Since I'm a VFX student in Nottingham, I had to upgrade to DVD because I want to see the special features like behind the scenes and trailers. The DVD itself from 2012 is a reissue of the 2000 DVD with all of the features intact, which is very good since with recent DVDs have started to ignore special features, and that really ticks me off. The DVD arrived this morning, I had to replace the case for it because the button inside the case that holds the DVD was broken does the disc was rattling around, but I think it wasn't the seller's fault and I think it was postage that damaged it; however, I do have spare DVD cases around to replace the broken one and the disc itself was totally fine. Overall everything turned out well, and I'm going to enjoy watching this Aardman classic again after a long while.

I remember this film from my childhood days so decided to purchase it to re-watch it. Ginger and her fellow chickens are living within a locked compound and are desperate to escape before they are killed. They try various escape attempts before Rocky comes into the picture. Rocky is a chicken who apparently can fly and Ginger wants him to show her and the others how to do so, what follows is chaos, mayhem and a lot of laughs. I won't go into what happens as I don't want to spoil it but it's a good film and I would recommend to all ages.This movie was delivered sealed and arrived within a couple of days.

I haven't watched this film in years, I was 10 years old when this came out, absolutely love this film, aardman did really well with this movie, characters brilliant, best villains i've seen with aardman of Mr and Mrs Tweedy, Miranda Richardson was fantastic as Mrs Tweedy she should be doing other voice over roles. rate this film as a 9 out of 10 only thing let it down was I could not stand the two rats in the movie, one of them was voiced by Timothy Spall and can't remember who voiced the other rat.Tom Kenmare
