GREAT knife for the money. I'm buying more!
I wanted a beater fillet knife that had a real sheath as all my fancy plastic sheath knives, the sheath clip broke. This knife is surprisingly good quality for the money. It does everything it supposed to for fish. I moved it to a skinning knife for small game. I beat on it hard. I'll whack the back with a stick to crush bones. It'll nick it up a little, but it has that magical level of steel that it sharpens easy and holds a good edge. The fit and finish is surprisingly good for the money. Well balanced. The rivets are a little rough, but I'm not complaining. I bleach mine after skinning. The handle wood will dry a little. Keep the wood oiled, you're good to go. I'm buying two more for the other tackle boxes.

Excellent quality, razor sharp, and nice price. Don’t believe the bad reviews, this knife rocks. I just ordered a second one and was tempted to order 5 more.

Probably Worth Twice the Price
What a beautiful knife. I wish it had a nice sheath, but it's OK. Time will tell on how it holds an edge.

Great blade, rough finish
All in all, I'd say it's a very good knife. It arrives dull but that's to be expected. If knives are important to you, you should own a sharpener. It's just stiff enough, just flexible enough for the job it's tasked with.If I have any complaints, it's with the finish on the handle. The wood is gorgeous but the finish on the tang and the rivets is a bit rough. I'm debating whether to sand it or just let time take care of it.But, for the meager price, you can't go wrong with this blade.

Knife
Good quality, only small thing I can fault is brass rivets are sticking out a little could be even a plus it makes it look hand made.

Reasonable for the price
It is true that the blade of this knife is quite soft and thin. But then, this is a filleting knife and for that you need sharp and flexible blade. And for $16 you are getting a good looking, nicely shaped knife that is perfectly good for the purposes that it is designed for... filleting. And if washed and cleaned at the end of each day there is no issue with rusting. It will only rust if you don't take care of it properly. But then this is the same for all low/mid priced knives. Otherwise, if you don't want to have to take care of your gear, go buy a much more expensive knife with a marine grade 316 stainless steel blade.

Don’t waste your money
I got this knife to use it while fishing and after the first use it was rusted!!Not made of a good material at all. Second use, I used it to brain spike a fish and the tip was broken.Stop wasting your money and buy a proper one.
