Totally fun book to read & keep on your shelves!
I was fascinated by this book, as I've always tended to stand out in crowds and be noticed by other people. It isn't that I'm very tall or very short or extremely thin or overweight or drop-dead gorgeous or ugly as six miles of bad road. I've never been sure what it is about me that seems to draw attention, so the notion of being invisible was very exciting for me. Let's face it: while it may be flattering to be noticed, there are some people in this world whose attention neither you or I would ever want.Shadow Warrior often calls upon what could be termed "common sense" and "intuition". But how many of us call unerringly upon common sense and how many of us are really utilizing our intuition at full capacity? This is especially true when we are feeling stress: we're unable to pay attention to details. And those details can be very powerful protectors or weapons as long as we remember to LOOK for them. If you do not have great pattern recognition, Shadow Warrior will teach you to look for a lot of details you might otherwise overlook..and you will learn the importance of randomizing your own patterns.I live in a very small town where a dozen people make life unpleasant for hundreds of others. These are the sneak thieves, the destructive drunks and a few genuine crazies who wander the streets at all hours of the night. Shadow Warrior has provided me with a lot of great information for dealing with these people, who will on occasion knock on the door of every person living in this town in search of gasoline, money to "borrow", cigarettes, a ride to town.. the list of excuses to get into people's homes are endless. I used to just run these people off..sometimes politely, sometimes in a verbally confrontational way, because if you let them in the door they have a nasty habit of inventorying all that you possess and stopping back to break in when they think you're not around. People new to this town often become victims and don't understand how it is possible: they treated these people well, they felt sorry for them and let them and their children stay because they were so vulnerable.. you get the picture.Shadow Warrior goes into a whole lot of detail that will save you from feeling foolish or betrayed by your own good nature. You learn how to see the proverbial Snakes In The Grass. You learn how to appear uninteresting and insignificant to stalkers and predators. As the book states, celebrities resort to this "blending in" quite a lot..which makes one question what motivated these people to work so hard to become famous in the first place, but..? I've not heard anyone say that people who pursue fame and then get freaked out about being recognized in public are (or were ever) sane. Mind Reading is not a mysterious gift: it is using your powers of observation and speaking in ways that are strategic. This is a very cool book. Even when you feel like whacking yourself upside the head and yelling: "I should have KNOWN that!", be grateful for the author who reminded you to use your head and think about all the data you're taking for granted and overlooking. One more point that might seem superficial, but one I find both useful and hilarious: this is a book to keep prominently displayed on the bookshelves that people will see when they enter your home. I've learned, in part from this book, to not hide but instead to prominently display unusual objects in the space around me because those who inventory usually will not ask about a book or an image of Red Garuda or the Goddess Kali in most wrathful aspect adorning a wall. They will make assumptions about keeping their distance from you. Many people fear what they don't understand, so this works as a way of putting most of these people off balance. Definitely a terrific book and one that I will keep displayed on my bookshelves for the rest of my life. I thought I had very good intuition and realized, once reading this book, that I was missing or ignoring some vitally important information. And yes..I can become, for all intents and purposes, invisible when I choose to be. This book is well worth the investment!

Ehhh
This book could of been shortened by at least half. This is kinda like an astrophysicist writing a kids book. Wayyy too wordy. I feel like if he was writing directions for a refrigerator he would spend 2 pages on how to open the door. So boring. Constantly lose interest

After reading the book, I've completed re-thought my approach to both my professional and personal life. A must read for those whose job requires them to accurately foretell the future. It teaches you how to be aware in every setting and makes you conscious of your surroundings and other people as you never have been before. You learn how to react and respond to any situation. Very Misleading . . . .
The book makes many promises it does not keep. For example, in the chapter on invulnerability, the author tells a story of monks who believed they were invulnerable to the point they went out to fight a group of armed assailants. The monks held their belief that they would be successful with total conviction but were cut down by a hail of bullets. Then the author jokes that there is nothing that can make you invulnerable; however, this is one of the things he said was possible in the advertisement of the book. He says the way to semi-invulnerability is to study your opponent and prepare for every possibility. His chapter on mind reading is simple advice of watching a person's facial and body expression. For invisibility, he advises to avoid drawing attention to yourself. Wow, that's really informative. This book makes promises to get your money but never delivers. Please save your money. I would give it a -5 stars if it were possible.

Cognative work behind mind control and ninja's
Enthusiast for some time and read a great deal of books on cognitive patterns, educational works. A great explanation of history with an interesting point of reference to Sun Tzu, Sophists, Shakespeare, and related works in which mind control has been used for centuries. Mythical facts between Ninja and tyrannical rulers throughout are highlighted and expounded with practical iteration. The book is a great addition to those who study Budo Taijutsu and the Iga relation to Ninjutsu.

Very informative
I think most of the people who rated this book as one star were expecting some mystic rituals on how to make there selves immortal and invisible to the human eye. If that is the nonsense you're looking for DO NOT get this book. Shadow Warrior is filled with everyday applications in the areas of observation and warfare. If you have read books such as "The Prince" and "The Art of War" you should definitely purchase this book.
