Well written and easy to understand

This book is really a good way to start developing Android Apps. It presents the basics of Android, if you already know Java and XML it will be a lot easier. This book talks about basic applications, don't expect to be an expert with this book. Keep in mind that this book is meant for people with basic or null experience on Android.

Well written and quite helpful as first book. Also its free so cannot go wrong with this one i guess.

Good info. Thanks for giving it away for free.A bit outdated since android ecosystem moves rapidly, but the underlying info is still relevant.Very useful and not too heavy to read.

Easy to read and full of good examples.

This is not about design. The title is misleading.
