D-Wipe Towels, Lead Removing Disposable Wipes (325 Wipes), WT-325

I train regularly at a private outdoor range out in the middle of nowhere that obviously has no running water. These wipes come in handy to remove some of the lead from blowback into my face and hands before I can get home to do a thorough wash with de-lead soap. It’s a must before snacking or eating a meal on range. I want to minimize my lead exposure and consumption.

I've been a sporting and competitive shooter for over 60 years. Only recently (past 10 years or so) did I learn that just washing with soap and water has poor efficacy for removing toxic lead particles from skin. In fact, warm/hot water opens pores and can allow the lead to get deeper into the dermis tissue. Human sweat is acidic, which dissolves lead particles making them more absorbable. These disposable D-Wipe towels are pre-moistened with a gentle pH balanced skin cleaning solution. This solution neutralizes the static charges of metal dust while lifting and binding particles to the fabric for quick removal from the skin without rinsing or smearing. One should use these before taking a water break and after every shooting session.

These wipes are perfect for cleaning up your hands and face after the range. It's so important to get that lead off of you before you eat or drink anything. And this handy size will last me YEARS, even sharing with friends. In fact, I pretty much just leave it in the trunk of my car.

I use these to wipe down after the range, as well as my equipment.They are a bit pricey, so I tested them when they first arrived. I took several base materials and wiped an exposed soft point into them. I followed up with a testing kit which produced high/positive results. After wiping down with a wet wipe, i still got positives. Using these wipes, the result was completely absent of found lead. It’s not scientific or controlled, but it was good enough for me.If your spouse is pregnant and you visit the range, this is something you should consider before returning home. Additionally, you may want to keep a dedicated set of clothes for the range (that is not washed with other linens). Try to avoid indoor ranges and look into lead-free polymer-suspended ammunition such as SynTech

Just wanted to clean off my hands after picking up grass before making my kids dinner, I guess it works. I still wash them thoroughly several times though with regular soap.

Great product for anyone who Handles metals such as lead, tin, antimony, or other toxic metals. Cleans the skin well without any adverse affects to skin.

Love this for when I am at the range and done shooting. Work well for just keeping the trunk or truck bed... Buy in bulk and buy once every 10 years.
