VDO Cycle computer, M

Great little product and good value for money. Easy to set up. Very easy to see the display and push the button to go through various functions whilst riding, even with cycling gloves on. No backlit display on this model which is not an issue if you are a daytime rider. Holds data if you have to switch the battery, which is good so you do not lose your overall stats to date. I also like this one as it shows two functions on the screen at once. Good entry level bike computer if you do not want to spend money yet on one that connects with your phone and pc etc.

Great cyclo computer at a fair price in my opinion. This is my 1st wireless computer combining both cadence and heart rate. I used it for 1st time today at a 40k ride. The sync of all the devices was perfect. Easy to operate and read the screen. Happy with this purchase and the combination of both heart rate and cadence helped me to optimise my ride, maintain an as high as possible cadence while keeping my heart rate within aerobic levels and of course optimise the use of my gears.

A great little bit of kit, after spending a bit of time setting it up and testing it everything works perfectly. I would of rated 5 stars but there is no backlight for the screen & the instructions included weren't very clear to follow, I resorted to watching a video online in the end but this may of just been caused by my technical ability. The transmitter also had to be fiddled with a bit before it started to detect the sensor, yet again this was probably my fault.A real nice CycleComputer, I've always known VDO to be a reliable brand for parts and I would happily recommend this any day as a good all round piece of kit!

I'm 54 years young and got back into cycling, it's not been easy but I'm really enjoying it, losing some weight and getting fitter. After reading books about cycling,I picked up on cadence and what you should be achieving. Not knowing what I was doing I needed something to measure mine hence I bought the M5 VDO. It's very easy to set up, I've tried it today for the 1st time, it worked fine, looks great too 10/10 from me. Happy cycling 😃

Great little computer. Does all i need. Fixes easily to your bike. Set up is easy, especially once you realise that wheel size tends to mean wheel circumference- a quick visit to the vdo website helped me. Took under 15 minutes to attach to the bike, and set it up.

This is the second I've bought. The speed transmitter cover had detached so exposing the electrics. The cover should have been bonded, so returned as defective production. The first unit we bought was fine and is still working well after 2 years. So a quality control issue.

Unit has stopped working 4 months in. Not showing speed. Need to go through warranty now to try and get transmitter. Was using it nearly daily and really liked it but one would expect better from a quality brand.

Delivered on time, well packaged. Nice clear screen and easy to fit. Feels well made and has all the functions that I use. I've had vdo computers before and they have all been really reliable.
