Basic Perspective Drawing: A Visual Approach

Got this book for school and it’s got some basic knowledge on perspective. I do wish it had better understanding and step by steps. It’s still great for learning more about perspective. I have learned a good amount from this book!

the price of this book is what makes this 3 stars for me. Personally I think How to Draw by Scott Robertson is a little bit better, and his book is $20 cheaper than this one. There are some good things in this book that aren't in Robertson's book, but I would only recommend this book as a supplement (if you're willing to shell out the extra $50) to Robertson's than using this as a primary source.

Wow, am I glad I spent the bucks to get this book! It's my primary resource on all the procedures for perspective drawing. Well, written, easy to understand and thorough. I'm amazed that art books and even books solely devoted to perspective drawing are more about perspective theory, but not the practical function and set up for this aspect of architectural drawing. This is a good one.

My college

This book is a good book to have in a personal library. It is especially good for artist. John Montaque covers everything about perspective an artist could want. I think It is clear and complete in explanation. Certainly would recommend it for anyone who wants to understand how perspective works.

Overall the book is good but the packaging made the book wrinkled when handling, they should send t on a box not in an envelope .

The best book I've seen for beginners and pros alike for explaining perspective. Plenty of exacting explanations and exercises make this book a must have!

Delivered to wrong address!! It is an expensive book, this is not good enough. Luckily I had an honest neighbour. Not anything about delivering to wrong address on delivery feedback. Yet Amazon tells me it was delivered....

Good on time delivery. I think this book explains the intricate details of drawing perspective in very simplest and visual terms. A great book for artists and architects. I would love to see in next edition if the three point perspective gets covered in similar details.
