Bit expensive, but worth it for hard to reach appliances.
I use these to power wireless infrared burglar alarm sensors, since its such a pain in the a*** to get the stepladder out and renew the batteries (particularly since they have micro sized securing screws which invariably get dropped each time).Looking at my buying history, the last pair of these lasted about 2 1/2 years in that application, which is very impressive.Only downside is the price, at about 3 times the price of normal alkaline batteries they are hard to justify for devices which are easier to reach.

Have bought these a number of times for my domestic detectors. The lifespan date is a little optimistic but they seem to last several years.
