You get every piece you need for making a strap or anything you need a swivel clip on. The gauge of the metal is smaller than what you would want for a medium to large animal leash but should be fine for light duty applications.

The D-Rings in this assortment was just the right size and weight for attaching the shoulder straps for a small purse I'm making.
