Olympic ES701 Indoor Cycling Bike - Black/Red

I ordered this on Tuesday evening, by Thursday mid-morning I had it. When it comes it's fairy heavy and comes in a box more or less the same you'd get in an IKEA flat pack for a waist height bookcase. I had it delivered to my parents house and it fitted easily into the back of my Peugeot 308 with the seats down. It took me about forty minutes to put it all together and was a very straight forward process. I didn't find anything missing.

I don't normally do reviews but I thought I should do with this product I ordered on a Thursday and delivered on a Friday what was great and very happy about but the estimated date was on a Monday so beware it could turn up the next dayAssembling the bike was quite easy you get all the tools with your bike to set it up but some people may need a 2nd person just to hold up each end of the bike while you attach the support fixtures. When using any type of gym equipment at home or in a gym to adjust the seat hight or handle bars you pull the knob to drop down or up to another hole not on this bike you have to actually unscrew the knob then find your desired height or whatever the tighten the knob back up if you don't you will get alot of wobble on the bike but everything else is easy and another note make sure you or someone tightens up the saddle what's attached to the bar I mean really tight so the bike comes with a sports water bottle nope it's a metal type bottle with a screw top not very practical when your training so get or use a better sports bottleI've done 4 training sessions on this bike and loved it I got the work out i wanted while using this bike you do get some noise I'm not talking about ear deafing noise just where you've set the resistance on the bike to be honest it's just the average gym equipment noise O yeah depending how long your training session is going to be aware you will end up with a numb bum after a while so getting a gel seat cover or changing the whole seat over would be recommended but still this bike is well worth the money

The exercise bike is a heavy item at 45kg. It appears sturdy enough to last.Visually it looks good. However, over a couple of weeks' use, the vinyl trim has cockled/lifted on both the main frame and flywheel. The bike is on carpeting and metal swarf has scattered mainly from the front and is thought to come from the flywheel, although I think this has now stoppedI have replaced the saddle supplied with one that is more comfortableIn use, I started with low resistance and found myself cycling too fast, coupled with a high calorie figure. Subsequently, I have increased the load or resistance, which has reduced the speed. However, this has had an associated reduction in calories. As I am working far harder, with the increased loading or resistance, I am puzzled why the calories burnt are reducing. My thoughts are that the computer is maybe too simplistic, being speed linked, and there is no correlation with the load and work done.However, this latter point aside, I like the bike and I am sure that it will help to improve my fitness, especially when it is rather cold, wet or dark to cycle on the roads.

Great build quality & easy to assemble

I had two delivered both were defective. Poor quality control.Amazon market place. Be warned Amazon A to Z warranty is only 90 days

Overall a bit disappointed. Despite being very heavy the bike is not very well made and seat, bars and other bits move around no matter show tightly you fasten them. The crank kept coming loose during use too. It's cheap though so i give it 3 stars.

Great exercise bike for the price. Nice and sturdy with a smooth pedal action. Very pleased
