All Features Work As Advertised
Included with the product is a user manual, as well as two batteries. One of the batteries is included in the thermometer which works right out of the box. The battery can be easily replaced by using a quarter to turn and remove the back compartment to replace the battery.The features that the thermometer has are:- Backlit LED display. This is convenient for outdoor grilling when the sun starts to go down- Fahrenheit to Celsius converted- A Hold feature to keep the current temperature on the display- Max/Min showing you previous records- Auto On/Off. This occurs whenever the probe is opened/placed in the body or 10 minutes have passed without use- Magnets on the back allow this to be placed on metal objects such as fridges and grills (some coatings on fridges may reduce the magnetic pull and will be hard for this to placed on them)- Bottle OpenerThis thermometer comes with a lot of useful features that make it more versatile and functional. Accurate meat thermometer
The thermometer comes with a battery and can be used right out of the box.There are three easy to depress buttons. The thermometer turns on easily and the temperature is recorded within a matter of seconds. It also has a Hold button that locks the temperature until you can read it. Another button turns on a back lite allowing the temperature to be easily read in dim light. The numbers are a good size and easy to read. It automatically turns off when the probe is folded in. The thermometer has a built-in magnet that is very convenient and can be placed on the side of the refrigerator, grill or is compact enough to fit in your pocket or apron.A temperature guide is included as well with the most common temperatures to safely cook most meats. The thermometer has been great so far and has shown accurate readings.

Great Product!
I really like this item, because I can use it in either hand with no problem reading it. ialso like the magnet on back. Just wish it was a little stronger. Thermometers really are great for getting the meat and other dishes just right for each person.

INACCURATE!
Not sure if I received a bad product... this thermostat is easy to use; but is off by at least 6 degrees Fahrenheit. I’m out of my return period, so pretty much out of luck.I would not recommend this product if you need an accurate reading... within 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
