Corrupting the Image: Angels, Aliens, and the Antichrist Revealed (Corrupting the Image, Book 1)

There are some scholars who aver a rather strange and evil event took place in the days immediately prior to and during Noah's time. Others try and paint the picture that what happened was nothing more than a physical interaction between humans. What exactly took place and more importantly, what bearing does understanding what happened have on our understanding and application of Scripture? Is this just some science fiction or mythical based concept or did something evil take place that angered God to the point where He destroyed life on earth save Noah, his family, and some select animals. Will such an evil event take place in the future? Speaker and author Douglas Hamp, in is book Corrupting the Image: Angels, Aliens, and the Antichrist Revealed examines these and other related issues.Let me first state this is a subject that is of increasing interest for me. I have read several books on this subject in recent months in order to obtain a greater understanding of the various positions taken on this issue. Hamp's book ranks right up there with other books on the subject I have engaged thus far. He aptly discusses what took place in Genesis 6, specifically what actually took place between the sons of God (fallen angels) and the daughters of men, creating what Scripture calls the Nephilim, the giants and men of renown. Using solid research and interaction with Scripture, Hamp demolishes the Sethite Theory, the idea that the sons of God were actually the progeny of Seth and not something of a more "angelic" nature, in this case angels who rejected their proper estate as noted in the book of Jude.I appreciated Hamp's focus on the battle between the two seeds, namely the seed of the woman and the seed of the enemy. This battle has waged ever since the events of Genesis 3 with the enemy seeming to up the ante in Genesis 6 in his attempt to corrupt the seed of the woman. This of course resulted in a global flood to rid the earth of the Nephilim.Hamp also discusses some rather interesting concepts such as the idea that Adam and Eve wore garments of light, something he finds support in based on scientific research that indicates our DNA emits a very low level of light. Pointing to ancient Jewish and Christian writings on this subject, Hamp suggests prior to sin, Adam and Eve reflected the image in part. Referring to a number of Scriptures that speak of God's glory and the marvelous light that surrounds and seemingly comes from His very presence. Also of note are the references to angels having the appearance of lightning, thus suggesting prior to sin, Adam and Eve could have also had such an appearance. Post sin, those garments of light were no more; however, Scripture seems to indicate in eternity future, the people of God will once more receive bodies such as Adam and Eve had in the beginning that reflected the image of the Creator.While I disagree with Hamp's pre-tribulation rapture position, the scenario he presents of the grand deception that is stated in Scripture to take place in the end of days is quite plausible and conforms to the activities we see currently taking place. His discussion of the transhumanism efforts, the UFO phenomenon to include alien abductions, and the attempt to mix animal and human genes is fascinating and to be honest, quite scary to read. With that said, these various efforts to align themselves with the prophecies found in Scripture and Hamp does an excellent job outlining the agenda of these groups along with providing information from those who are pushing these activities.One thing is quite clear and that is something evil took place in Genesis 6 that angered God and it is apparent that same level of corruption is scheduled to take place in the end of days. Tales of giants are not just some bedtime story worthy of a good Disney or science fiction movie. The corruption or attempted corruption of the seed by the fallen angels that took place in the days of Noah is stated in Scripture to take place once again. The giants of old are well documented and to deny their existence is to in fact deny both Scriptural proof and archaeological and historical research. Regardless of what takes place in the days ahead, we can be assured as Hamp so aptly reminds us that God is in control and we can trust that despite the enemies attempts to thwart God's divine plan, those attempts will fall short.I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in this subject matter. Hamp provides the reader with well researched information from Scripture, science, and history, presenting a clear examination of who the Nephilim are and what is currently being planned by those who desire to try once again the failed plan enacted so long ago. Hamp's book is informative and as noted on the cover, "A thrilling read!"

Excellent book by a bold author. Most Christians deny the possibility of corrupted DNA as a result of angels in Genesis 6 interbreeding with human females to form Nephilim. Those who accept the idea do not seem to understand that both angels and humans have DNA. Hamp shows how the fact that males have both X and Y chromosomes while females have only X chromosomes makes it possible for the Nephilim bloodline to continue even after the flood without another incursion of angels. It leads to the likelihood of there being humans with Nephilim DNA living among us today. Bold to write this? Yes. I am grateful.This is only the beginning of a necessary understanding of the corruption of human DNA that is being done in today's world. As human hearts are being produced in animals, as DNA from one species is put in another, as DNA is modified by toxins and radiation, as "super soldiers" are being developed by using DNA from the animal kingdom, we need to have an understanding of the definition of "human".At which point does the amount of non-human DNA in a human change him from being human to non-human? Only the male has Y chromosomes. Human males have Y chromosomes. The angels who came down from Heaven to interbreed with human women had angelic Y chromosomes. It seems that the definition of "human" is determined by the Y chromosome. If a person on earth has a Y chromosome from a fallen angel, he is likely a Nephilim who has the nature of a fallen angel and he is probably classified not as a human but as a fallen angel. If a person on earth has a Y chromosome from a human, he is likely a Nephilim who has the nature of a human and is probably classified as a human. Both these people could appear similar on the outside while being fundamentally different on the inside.Notice that I said "probably". We are at the time scientifically were governments are trying to make a legal definition of human and decide which "creatures" will have the rights of citizens. We are dealing with definitions and as far as I know right now, no widely accepted definition has been made.But it does make you wonder about the Scripture that says "go and preach the gospel to every creature." Jesus never said "to every human". I never noticed that until I started to read more about genetic manipulation. Jesus knew that the DNA of man would be corrupted.After reading this book, you might want to read John Darnell's book "The Gospel to Every...'Creature'?"; there are reviewsof this book on Goodreads.

Since the corruption in the Garden, Satan has not ceased in his attempts at turning Gods people away from the Light and into the darkness. Deception is and always will be his greatest tool at confusing the truth; did God really say? Yes humanity, God really did say and He is still saying. We can take Him at His Word and take it literally. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in Gods image and that has made Satan so jealous he has sworn to do whatever it takes to destroy that image. Look around you and you just might think he is doing a bang up job, but again that is deception. Satan will never win this battle that rages in Heaven and who's battlefield is pertinent on Earth. Speak the Word of God and the darkness must flee; be not afraid nor be dismayed fore I AM with you always even to the end of the age. Hemp has struck the Spiritual Nerve that I pray opens the blind eye and the deaf ear. May you all find Peace with God through His Holy Word. Shalom

This book answered a lot of questions. The author made a lot of sense and opened my eyes to the UFO phenomena and the lies that have been fostered. I feel that I can be confident in looking to the future without fear.

Take absolutely no notice of Patrick McDermots review. He makes two completely conflicting statements. One that within 30 mins of receiving the book it was in the bin. Two when he says easily the worst book that he has ever read. His problem is he cannot have read it within 30 mins. Great book, thanks Mr hamp.
