probably, although you don't have to get very close to the viewer to see who is outside, unlike regular peepholes.

Q: Had the door scope installed and 3 white dots appeared on the lens. Is this a flaw?

If you opened up the viewer and put the lens in backwards, that will cause them to be chipped and that could be what the dots are from.

Q: Does this have a cover? If not can you see the light change when behind the door?

No it does not have a cover thus one can see the light on the other side.

Q: what kind of quality image does it provide viewing people and objects 75 feet away?

image quality is good and you don't have to be right up on it to see. images are clear when viewing from 2 feet back. However, the image is reversed, so what's seen on the left is really on the right. As far as seeing objects 75 feet away, they can be seen, but it's a wide angle lens so the object will be pretty small.
