I like the aesthetic of it and that colors. It's fun. Would like if it was stick and peel adhesive on back

I bought this as a gag gift for my boyfriend because I thought it would be fun to keep track of all the places we have been together. It was so addicting to scratch off the states/countries that I ended up scratching a lot of it myself! The quality of the poster underneath the scratching area is great (I made sure to be working on a solid surface to prevent any damage like some of the pictures that I have seen. You do have to put a bit of pressure onto it - just as with any other scratcher card out there, so avoid doing this on carpet or on your bed. This recommendation will come in handy also if you have travelled A LOT - there is going to be golden dust EVERYWHERE if you are not cautious! I thought it would be a better idea to have stickers to lift than scratching for globe trotters. Canada/USA/Mexico alone resulted in a small pile of pixy dust (have a trash bin close by and a small brush to clean as you go).As someone who has not travelled to Africa and most Asian countries, seen the map (and particularly all the unscratched flags) gave me the feeling of "what the f*** and I doing standing here looking at this map instead of packing my bags to go visit all these places!?! Oh yes, that's right, I have to go to work tomorrow. I brought this on myself after all, I bought this... now searching for a frame to put these up!

The products was packaged beautifully - perfect for gift giving. Since the two posters and the tool purse could be rolled up together, the overall package was not bulky and is very transportable. However, since the posters were rolled up, it required careful flattening. I ended up putting both posters on the ground, covered by a large cardboard box to flatten it out. I left it there for about a month and a half, but the edges still rolled up a bit by the time I started scratching off. Loved the colors that were revealed during scratch off. While some portions were easier to scratch, I found that I needed to keep rotating the tools to find areas that could actually scratch off the gold covering. The worst part of the scratching, though, was cleaning up the scratched off gold covering. It wasn't picked up very easily by a swiffer dry cloth and ended up smudging itself back onto the map when I tried wiping. I eventually moved to a small handheld vacuum cleaner followed up by a tissue slightly dampened.Pros: beautiful background, lots of compliments, good value for money with tools and artCons: arrives rolled up so you need to do some work to flatten before you can start displaying / scratching; some misspellings of state names

This is a pretty nice map set. It's decent quality and I was able to easily hang it up with 3M strips. Only downside is that when it arrived, some of the country flags were already scratched, which I think was from transit and it's totally okay, I didn't mind.

I love the color of the map with the contrast of the black and gold. Just the right size for a map as well. The only reason I won't give it a 5 out 5 is because the scratching was harder than expected. But honestly I think its better to have it this way so that if you accidentally scrap it with something you dont just have a line running through the places you have not been.

I love this!! A lot of people use this to scratch off places that they have personally visited. However, we are going to use this in our homeschool to scratch off places that we learn about. We just received it not too long ago and the packaging kept it perfect. I was also very surprised at the high quality especially for this price.My kids and I are very excited to continue to use these as our lessons continue and I am planning on purchasing another set for my niece and nephew for Christmas.

I loved these maps!!! It was exactly what I was looking for. I looked at other deals but this one was the best. Lots of the scratch off maps I looked at were $17 dollars for one map, but I paid $9 for 2 maps. I would highly recommend these maps. They were easy to scratch off and look cute. When I scratched off the gold film it did noticeably stay on my carpet but was very easy to sweep up.

I can't believe how quickly it arrived - only about 2 weeks! I absolutely love the colours and the flags at the bottom. Makes me want to travel everywhere, particularly by including the islands and smaller countries; the borders are very intricate. I only have a few small negatives: when I crossed out the South Pacific Islands such as French Polynesia, I couldn't actually see the colour underneath as they were so small. The foil is also placed slightly lower than the actual colours so if you wanted to keep the thin gold border around countries, it was quite difficult to see where it actually was. It was suggested to me to scratch the border off and I'm so glad I did - I can see more city names and it looks more clear. I'll keep it under some books for a few weeks to see if it flattens out a bit more before I put it in a frame. Oh, and the US map is also super clear and pretty. So glad I bought it - Mum wants one now!
