It's almost perfect except for three flaws. The first is that the outside edge was very rough. I took some 400 grit sandpaper to it and smoothed it right out. The second is that the ends are not tapered at all. It's the same thickness end to end. I'll get over it. Third it's a bit thicker than I'd like but it's about the thinnest I can find anywhere. On the good side is that it's very slick for sliding. The finish is very smooth and it makes transport easier. Also it is lighter than others of its size but at the distance it's used for your not going to break it.

Perfect, no need to spend more money. Works exactly as needed.

edges of the transfer board are ruff , corner of transfer board will scratch you , catches when you transfer , STAY AWAY from this product there NO returns on product

Transfer board is not 3/8 inch thick!!! It measures to be 1/2 inch thick!!! It is 9 ply plywood. Still very good value.

My husband had extensive broken pelvis surgery. This side board broke in the first week. He is not overweight at all. Don't recommend this transfer at all. NOT durable. It was used properly too.
