Die Hard at West Ham
OK, let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. Final Score is yet another Die Hard clone with a plot we've seen a thousand times before, and frankly, Jean Claude Van Damme's 1995 movie Sudden Death was a better execution of the idea inside the setting of a packed sports stadium. But if you're prepared to overlook the inevitable Die Hard comparisons, Final Score still has a lot going for it.There's a good deal of fun to be had watching grouchy American Dave Bautista clash with the yobbish culture of London's East End, and when the action starts, the set pieces are entertaining and well staged. The plot and characters are passable, but forgettable and no one is going to win an Oscar. But this is not Remains of the Day. It's Die Hard at West Ham, and there is certainly enough here to keep action fans entertained.

Brought this as i'm a west ham fan.
Brought this as i'm a west ham fan and wanted a film set in our old ground. however, ground had a lot of CGI done on it and the fans did not sing 'bubbles'. Plot ish good, but putting your hand in a hot fryer to grab a knife and still have a hand a bit to far. Pierce Brosnan under used. Best part, hitting the US agent because 'it is football not soccer'. Hourand half with friends and beer, it is ok!

It's Football not bloody Soccer!
I quite enjoyed this film despite the main actors not being so well known. Lots of action and a bit gritty. I love a film where an American comes to our country to experience a bit of good old English culture.

nothing new uninspired action
A copy of Sudden Death but in a football stadium. Acting and action scenes fairly poor. No idea what pierce Brosnan was doing in it. Great pay for 5 minutes. Tbh it was a kill a Sunday evening with some mindless rubbish and it did the trick.

Run of the mill action film.
Enjoyable film. A run-of-the-mill action film that has its moments. Takes advantage of Anne Boelyn Stadium closing to use it as a setting for a lock-in terrorist plot. A few funny moments, one in particular had me laughing out loud for a while. A good vessel for David Bautista to show what he can do with a decent cameo by ex James Bond Pierce Brosnan.

Only just 3 stars
Did not realise this film was produced by Sky until I had paid for it. It's OK, action is the usual run of the mill, as is the plot line and OMG why choose WestHam, oh yes they got a freebie at tax payers expense and demolished their old ground. Dave Bautista should stick to Gaurdians of the Galaxy, at least you can legitimately laugh at him in that.

Dive Hard ....
It's everything it wants to be. Die Hard in a football stadium. Preposterous. Violent. daft and just pain fun. Dave Bautista makes for a very decent action hero and there are a number of set pieces that are a joy to behold. Switch off brain, open a tinny and settle in.

Brilliant, well worth a watch
Excellent action film. Great, believable storyline with strong, rounded characters. Set within the backdrop of one of the best football grounds of all time, it makes keeps you on the edge of your seat. Explosions, car chases, a hero; what more could you want
