Unusable.
Not ready for prime time. Nearly incomprehensible instructions. Very little apparent functionality. Triggers random alarms on my iPhone. Yes, I can shake the Gecko and it causes my iPhone to make a noise. Don't really have a problem with trying to find my iPhone when it's within a few feet. Ambient thermometer according to the manufacturer's description? Maybe, maybe not, but no clue how to access it. Not. One. Word. Likewise no explanation about music control. Gestures that the app indicates should control music do nothing.Range appears extremely limited. My "virtual leash" triggered at about 4 feet away. Check if mom took her pill today (as described by the manufacturer)? Only if she's just down the hall or I'm standing next to her. Know when someone opens your door? Sure, if you're sitting in that room.If it can do what it says it can do, then the product launch should have been delayed until the app or online instructions could catch up. I'll update if I ever figure it out. Tile claims fewer functions, but it seems to work.

Great gaget for those who really need it, not a necessity
pros:- easy to use and great tool. once you know the instructions-works really well-alarms are really helpful for everyday taskscons:-bluetooth on will suck your phones battery.-door motion and pill-box mode are not very good.--Range appears extremely limited, Don't really have a problem with trying to find my iPhone when it's close

Keychain mode works great, has great potential for other modes..
Works great with my iPhone 5s. I ordered 4 pack and use one with my car keys and one on my luggage. My wife uses the other two.So far, Geckos works well in key chain mode, but still need improvements with other modes like door motion and pill-box. I have got a few upgrade notifications so far and hopefully these profiles work well soon.So far this works better than the other tags that I have tried.

The product is not ready for primetime. I supported the product during its crowdfunding phase at indiegogo. It beeps all the time trying to connect to the phone.
