Consistently the best brand for my clover seeds!
I’ve been using this brand for a while now to add clover to grass areas in our old place, and also bare dirt spots in our new rural home.I don’t like grass. I don’t like the cliche suburban white picket fence family with perfectly cut grass to impress their neighbors or HOA community.Anyway, this brand is consistent with every bag, even when stored away & used a year later. Pictured is my 3 week old clover progress to cover the bare areas of our yard. Very impressive! Can’t wait til our ENTIRE yard is filled with many types of ground clover, creeping thyme, and wildflowers. Highly recommend, I won’t use another company!

Finally, Hope for Our Dog-Ravaged Lawn! This Clover Sprouts Fast!
The media could not be loaded. Let's be honest, our lawn was looking rough. Between our five active dogs and their bathroom habits, our traditional grass just couldn't keep up. We had patchy dead spots and areas that refused to grow back, no matter what we tried. We needed a serious solution, something more resilient and beneficial for the soil. After some research, we landed on this OutsidePride White Dutch Clover seed, specifically the 10 lbs bag of nitro-coated and inoculated seeds, suitable for our Zone 7a lawn.I am genuinely impressed with the initial results! We prepped the soil lightly and seeded the most problematic areas first. I was skeptical about how quickly we'd see anything, but within just a few days, tiny green clover sprouts started popping up! It was amazing to see them already beginning to fill in those barren patches where the dogs had done their worst. The quick germination gave us a huge boost of confidence.Seeing that early success, we actually went ahead and did a second, broader seeding yesterday to help establish a thicker, more uniform clover lawn across the entire area. We can't wait to see it all come together. One of the big selling points for us, beyond just covering the patches, is clover's natural soil-enhancing ability. White Dutch Clover is a legume, and thanks to beneficial bacteria in its root nodules (which is why getting inoculated seed like this is important!), it performs nitrogen fixation. Essentially, it pulls nitrogen gas from the atmosphere – which grasses can't use directly – and converts it into a form that enriches the soil, acting like a slow-release natural fertilizer. This should mean a healthier lawn overall, potentially reducing the need for chemical fertilizers, which is great for pets and the environment.Another key factor was finding something that could withstand some wear and tear. Clover tends to be quite resilient. It springs back well after being walked on (or run on, in our dogs' case!), unlike some grasses that get easily matted or damaged. We're hopeful this will lead to a consistently greener, more robust ground cover. The Only Con: If I have to list a downside, it's simply the waiting game! Seeing those first sprouts is thrilling, but my own impatience makes me wish I could snap my fingers and see the final, lush result right now. Of course, that's not the seed's fault – growing a beautiful lawn takes a little time!Overall: We are incredibly optimistic about this OutsidePride clover seed. The fast germination is a huge plus, it's already tackling our problem areas, and the long-term benefits of nitrogen fixation and resilience are exactly what our lawn needs. I will definitely circle back and post an update with photos once it's fully established and we see how it handles the dogs long-term. For now, highly recommended for anyone looking for a hardy, beneficial lawn alternative, especially if you have pets creating challenging conditions!

So far so good
+++Update on May 8th+++I am BEYOND happy at the white clover seeds I got from Outsidepride. Not sure if it is clover or if it is the Nitrocoat, literally no other maintenance required. I literally threw the seeds on the ground (we are on a hill), and now there are patches of sprout on my hill. It has rained a lot in Jersey, and I also have a lot of the clover under shade. So far doing great!+++Initial Comment+++It sprouted. We tossed them in our yard’s sloppy area which gets some sunlight (but has some shades as well). So far it rained a couple of times in NJ and the seeds seem to have sprouted (we didn’t water extra, probably should have). Will come back with an update as the clover grows.

Good seed.
I was a bit worried at first because I am not a grdener and know very little about plants in general, but almost every seed sprouted. I planted them in very difficult spots in my yard and even with the wind and rain pushing them around, they still sprouted. Just keep in mind that clover needs a lot of water while they're little. I planted mine in early April and it took about a weekish before they sprouted, which is a bit longer than the bag said. What got planted in the shade is doing much better than the ones that got planted in the sun. It probably has more to do with how my property is laid out because I'm trying to grow in areas that have been very difficult for even the weeds to grow. The bigger question is how much will you need? I'd say for an average sized (American Suburb) yard that has zero grass and you're starting from nothing, maybe one bag. The seeds are tiny and there are so many. I didn't even use my entire bag. So if your yard is bigger than that or if you're doing front and back yards, probably more than 1 bag.I covered mine in straw and it really helped keep the moisture on them. I would definitely buy this again.

Less than a week and already sprouting
Less than a week and already sprouting. I tossed some seeds within some leaves, some mulch, some regular dirt, and some hardened clay. Some seeds planted as directed, some tossed like bird seed into the yard. So far all locations have some sprouts popping out within less than a week. If this keeps growing like this, I am going to be extremely impressed and happy! I've spent more money on several wildflower packs with less success. This is well worth it!

Beginner-Friendly White Clover—Lush, Low-Maintenance Ground Cover
These white clover seeds were easy to germinate—even for someone with no gardening experience. I loosened the soil, mixed the seeds with sand, and sowed much more than the recommended amount. They sprouted in a few weeks and gradually covered the lawn. In the second season, after heavy rain, they grew tall with large, vibrant leaves that drew compliments from neighbors. Unfortunately, I may have cut them too early and short at about 5–6 inches, and raking likely damaged the roots, causing most of the clover to die off. Some are starting to regrow this spring. I’m happy with the seeds and believe the loss was due to my inexperience, not the product. Highly recommended for an attractive, low-maintenance alternative to grass.
