So happy this worked on my 30+ year old Cuisinart!
I was unsure this would fit, my Cuisinart is over 30 years old. It is slightly smaller than the original but locks into place and works great! It doesn't come with the pusher but I had that from my original lid, just a call out in case that is also missing.

So far, so good - fits just fine
So, I got my Cuisinart a few years back from my mom. She wanted new appliances - and me being a college student, said - GIVE ME THAT I'M POOR! I've used the processor lots over the last 3 years or so - probably a few times a month. The locking mechanism recently broke, and I needed to replace the assembly. I wouldn't have replaced it - but my wife was complaining about how I was working around the broken mechanism - I was using the broken off clip to push down the locking mechanism and turn it on. Enough of that she said.I would never have replaced the mechanism if it wasn't for her. Oh well, the new sleeve assembly fits perfectly - it's the legit replacement part, no question about that.As for the people that claim to break mechanism (the clips I guess) a few times a year - what are you doing?? I do agree - the locking mechanism is flimsy. All I can say is be a bit careful, and it will continue to work for at least a few years. I've started to store the assembly detached from the processor lid so that there is no force on the flimsy clips. I realized that there was a decent amount of force always applied to the clips when just sitting there assembled all the time. This is probably why the mechanisms wear out much faster - you're always applying force to them, basically having them "at work" 24/7. Hopefully my plan works, and this will be the last I have to buy in many years.

Old Cuisinart, new pusher. Works great.
We too have a 30 year old Cuisinart and weren't sure if this would do it, but it works perfectly, and at a great price.

Genuine parts quickly
Best place to find genuine Cuisinart parts. Mine get lots of use and the parts do break or wear out.

Perfect for our DLC-8
This was a perfect fit for our model DLC-8 Cuisinart.

be careful of what versions of what parts you need
I've replaced multiple plastic parts on our 35 yr old DLC-10 Cuisinart over the years. Only on my most recent purchase did I have a problem. The older assemblies that have a pink-ish color to them and the new[er] parts have a grey-ish color to them. Some of the grey-ish parts now have a "T1" suffix stamped on them. For the most part and possibly for all of them (I'm not sure) if you purchase a part number that ends in T1 then you must replace the other parts that do not end in T1. The parts are very close in size; however, they won't fit. For example, a DLC-117BGTXT1 "pusher assembly" (not, this is not the white cylinder pusher; rather, this is the assembly that attaches to the top of the assembly atop the bowl, it will require a new "T1" version of the bowl... which will then require a new T1 version of the main bowl. Expensive and disruptive. My take away is it is better to buy the same version you have even though it is out of production. That is, you're forced to buy a used part. Of course almost all the used parts have some kind of crack in them, so it's a gamble. What I did was buy a non-working unit because I have a working motor. To make this more confusing, there are some grey-ish parts that don't have a T1 suffix, that *will* work and not require purchasing other plastic assemblies. This is in no way a complaint of this part here being sold. It is exactly what it says. It's just that you may have a problem if your base unit is old[er].

Exact replacement for old model DFP-11 FP
It's not clear from some of the reviews or the product page but this is an exact, original replacement for the pusher on my very old Cuisinart Deluxe 11 (DFP-11, but with DLC-8 stamped on many of the parts). As is apparently common, the locking tab on the back broke so I had to manually hold down the pusher for the unit to run. I called Cuisinart to confirm this is what I need to fit my existing bowl, and even then it was an educated guess because they don't make this model anymore and changed their part numbering system. Also, you don't want to replace a gray / clear plastic part with yellow / amber, and you can't replace a TX part with a TXT part. The part number on my old pusher is DLC-018BGTX, and the one I recieved is stamped with the same number and is made by Cuisinart. Apparantly the part number can have either TX or TX-1 at the end, depending upon where it's sold. I also emailed the seller to confirm this was an original Cuisinart part in the clear/ gray color that I needed. Now I can use my FP as intended, without manually holding the pusher down to make it run. This is often out of stock so if you need one don't delay, just order from Amazon - it's about the same price as from Cuisinart with shipping, but Amazon's return policy is better. I wasn't sure until I got it that it would fit, but it does, perfectly!

Great replacement; fits and works well, and a good demonstration of corporate profit maximization
As happened before, the single plastic part that drives the on off breaks after some use, and now treplacing the pusher for the 2nd or third time. Not a fault of the seller, but rather Cusinart for making the piece that takes all the stress of the on/off turn out of such flimsy and breakable plastic. Just a little re-enforcement could solve this problem, but alas another US company that values money (in replacement parts) over quality and customer satisfaction
