AudioQuestNRG-Z3 Power Cable - 1m - 1 x C13 > 1 x 3-Prong Wall Plug

Cables do make a difference. Replaced the Budget Product of the Year Shunyata Venom that's been feeding my Parasound HINT6 with the NRG-Z3. The Venom had been a step up from the OEM power cable, which made me a believer. Doing a little "refresh" on the system, parlayed some gift cards and figured out a 1 meter would just fit the application and my budget. Been sittin' here for 4 hours and can't wipe the smile off my face. The LS50's have more meat on the bones, image definition has improved substantially, and the soundstage just got 3 feet deeper. Once I get the subwoofer installed, you may not be able to get me out of the living room. All the cabling is Audioquest, and I'm glad I did. I think back to the stone-knives-and-bearskins days of zip cord and the ubiquitous gray interconnects. What the heck were we doing?BTW - don't forget your ethernet cables. That'll really blow your mind. Good job, Audioquest!

This cable was delivered promptly and in excellent condition. Many folks will consider any power cable that costs hundreds of dollars to be overly priced. This is not a product for them. For those listeners who appreciate the difference that well designed and manufactured cables can make in an audio system, this cable will be a relative bargain. I’m using this cable to power my integrated amp and am very pleased. Recommended!

I was curious about a power cable upgrade for my Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum III amp > PureAudioProject Trio15 speakers after reading a lot of reviews. I went for this one and installed it immediately after an hour of playing my audio demo playlist….music I know quite well. Then I replayed the list.I will quantitize the improvement as more than 1% and qualify it as a gentle expansion of the sound space, slightly darker background behind and around instruments, slightly tighter bass.I’m planning to keep this cable. Expensive and fat but it moved the needle one little tick in the right direction.

Despite my skepticism, this AC power cord improved my 2-channel hifi system in all aspects: increased dynamics, bigger soundstage, clearer bass, smoother vocals, and better instrument separation. In fact, I gained a new appreciation for the meaning of all of those audiophile terms after an entire weekend of dissecting the changes introduced by the cord. Music is now more engaging and immersive than before. I can comfortably say the improvements justify the retail price and that I could pick out the differences in blind tests.For reference, my system costs around $4,000 USD. The cable's retail price compared to my system's total cost seems to be an appropriate ratio (about 4%). If your system costs less, you may get a bigger performance increase from upgrading your source or DAC. Making those choices is part of the fun of the hobby. There also may be better value power cords out there, but unless I'm loaned test cords for free (hint), I'm not going to bother with buying and testing alternatives as I'm happy with this one.

I have upgraded all my HDMI cables and finally did one AC power cable from AudioQuest NRG Z3 as a test. Ran a 1 meter Z3 from my Marantz 8805A to Panamax 5400. TV is Sony 950H front speakers are B & W 702S2. Subs are Polk DSW Pro550. Though it was all great before, the Z3 improved sound stage, bass detail and color on the monitor. Likely replacing all AC cables for Apple TV and my main zone and zone 2 amps.

Why companies like these can get away fooling naive buyers with their voodoo magic and pseudo science??? That should be illegal.Nobody has ever passed a proper blind test regarding all the nonsense claims of esoteric cables. Guess why??? Lol

You can definitely hear a difference. This is the third NRG Z power cord that I've added. Happy with the way music just flows through my system. Detailed, transparent, clean, quiet it's all there and more. If you like to listen into your music get them. They are quite revealing and work well for me in my set up.

It is ever so slight adjustment but your music gets a solid continuous supporting heft . If there is questionable voltage in your home it delivers every bit . It is THICK and not that pliable almost size of quarter . This cord and voltage Controller is a must for higher systems .

Upgrading my power cables and a repeat buy on this product that has already improved performance elsewhere in my audio set up.

Pro: Excellent build quality. Pro and Con: Thick and stiff Listening: Quieter. Opened up the Soundstage. A bargain. If you have not made the leap to cable upgrades. Try it it may surprise you.

I would give it 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper
