Quick disconnect fits old and high flow fittings.
I'm not sure how the aluminum will hold up but they definitely make a difference in flow. The hose is massive compared to the typical fittings you'd buy at the hardware store. The quick connect also fits my old smaller bass and steel ends so you don't have to switch everything over. They are extremely easy to take on and off. Almost too easy when it comes to taking tools off. I've done it by mistake a couple times

Excellent Kit for High Airflow Needs
This Milton S-314VKIT is a fantastic upgrade for anyone needing more airflow from their pneumatic tools. The V-style fittings deliver noticeably better performance compared to standard connectors, especially with high-demand tools. Everything in the kit feels well-made and durable, and the purple color makes them easy to spot in a busy shop. Great value and performance—highly recommended for serious DIYers and professionals alike.

Nice kit for the money
Allows you to setup a couple of hoses and tools. I am replacing all of the old 3/8 high flow fittings I have with this V style high flow fitting, at first observation they have the same air passage size as the 3/8 and weigh a lot less. Should be a nice upgrade with out losing air tool performance. I am still a little unsure how long aluminum will hold up VS steel or brass. Time will tell.

I like that the couplers aren't aluminum
Fitment was no issue, I could care less about the color but they're a vibrant purple. I wish the male plugs were brass instead of aluminum. The couplers however are not aluminum which I like because they'll hold up (hopefully) when hitting the ground, etc. All other style male fittings will fit into the female couplers. Easy to setup. When connected there is play between the coupler and male fittings but it doesn't leak. I feel like the connection could be improved (less play) but it doesnt seem to be an issue. A huge improvement over most Hi-flo V style female couplers that are mostly all aluminum.

OK so far, leaks when using industrial plugs
I just switched all my compressor and hose fittings to these high flow ones. So far so good, I will see how they hold up. The aluminum plugs weigh almost nothing compared to brass, and have very thin walls, so I'm a little worried they won't last. Also, The coupler is advertised as accepting both Industrial plugs and these high-flow ones. Industrial style plugs do fit, but there's a very slight leak. Not really a problem as you would only be doing something like that in a pinch.

Works well.
I use this kit on my Bosch kit I got 3 years ago. Never had an issue.

very poor, connectors leak a significant amount of air
I bought two of these 14 packs because I wanted to convert all my tools to the hi-flo style connector. Replaced the connectors on all my tools without actually using them. I was shocked when they all leaked a large amount of air unless the connectors were perfectly aligned and zero force was applied on the connection from the hose. You can fiddle with the connection and sometimes get them to stop leaking, but as soon as you move your hose, the leaking starts again. These are awful. I really don't know how a reputable company like Milton can sell these.Update:I replaced some of the aluminum couplers I reviewed with their brass/steel equivalent "V" couplers: Milton S-217. Zero leaks with these. I did some interoperability testing between the two and it seems like the aluminum female couplers in my original purchase was the cause of the leaking. The aluminum male coupler doesn't leak at all when used with the brass female. Regardless, I'm replacing all of aluminum couplers in my shop with the brass/steel ones. It's so nice for those leaks to be gone.

Definite improved airflow and performance.
I'm not a professional mechanic who turns a wrench for a living and my air compressor is a 21 gallon, 2.5 HP, 125 psi Central Pneumatic from Harbor Freight that I've had for the past 3 years. I mainly use my air tools for routine maintenance on my cars and yard equipment and my son and his friends use them for their cars. With the exception of a Matco MT1712 1/2 impact gun, all of my other air tools, air fittings and air hoses are Central Pneumatic from Harbor Freight. With that being said, I was never really impressed with the performance of my air tools, however, since I bought them from HF, I wasn't really expecting much. Recently, I needed a new air hose and also decided to change out my hose fittings. I Googled which would be the best hoses and fittings and consistently saw Milton V-Style fittings in my searches. As you can see in the picture, the fitting on the top is a steel Central Pneumatic air fitting from Harbor Freight, in the middle is a Milton V-Style steel fitting from Milton S-217, and the bottom is a fitting from this reviewed package. After checking prices I decided on this package because it included the couplers and fittings. I had read the reviews regarding durability since these were made from anodized aluminum and wasn't too concerned because I don't really abuse the hoses or fittings. After installing them with Teflon thread tape I had a chance to use an air chisel and air hammer for a project. I could tell right away that the performance was much better. The air chisel was bouncing around a lot and the coupler and fittings were getting a good workout. There was no noticeable damage or defect at all in the fit or finish. Upon using my impact gun I was able to see a definite improvement in performance when trying to remove rusted bolts. These couplers and fittings definitely improved performance. I grease the internals of my impact gun regularly and also use an in-line lubricator but was never really satisfied with it until now. I had actually considered upgrading my impact gun to get better performance. The only "down" side to these fittings is that you'll use a lot more air and your compressor will kick on more often. As I've said before, I also bought the steel version of these fittings (Milton S-217) and they work just as well. If you're worried about the durability of the anodized aluminum then that would be your best alternative although they are not purple. The couplers are backwards compatible with other fittings but you won't get the increased airflow that you get when you have all V-Style fittings and couplers. The V-style fittings WILL NOT mate up to non V-Style couplers. I also use Marvel Mystery Oil to oil all of my air tools and Royal Purple Synthetic compressor oil in my air compressor.
