THIS WAS NOT A HARDCOVER. I purchased this as a present for my boyfriend's mother for Christmas, paying the extra whatever dollars for hardcover. Now, imagine my dismay when I opened the packaging and saw that the book was not a hardcover, but a ratty, old, and ripped up paperback. This picture is incredibly misleading. I hope no one else has this problem.
