EDENS ZERO 1

Hits all the points I look for. I love finding creatives that maximize multiple wheelhouses!
-Heroic protagonists-Karma kicks the villains in the teeth-Space Fantasy-Good vs Evil-Simple character types to root for. IE: HappyI don't mind static or flat arc characters. They help compare and contrast with those who have dynamic arcs. Not everything has to be awash in gray morality sludge. I found Shiki's origin to be key in what I look for. He just wants to do good by his fellows. Refreshing.I enjoy the time travel/alt timeline setups. A clever way to have alternative timelines without ending up in a paradox. Gives it that multiverse angle without stepping on other characters. IE: the professor and even Ziggy. (On vol 4 atm.)Will get the rest in 2-4 vol hits until I fully catch up.

Classic Manga
I have always said that years in the future, people will look back and see that Fairy Tail is one of the greatest mangas and animes ever created. Eden Zero has a high bar to leap over for sure, but this humble yet familiar beginning in Volume 1 shows much promise. Here I begin a journey reading and maybe someday watching a super cool story unfold before my eyes. Give it a read yourself as your imagination takes flight like an exceed.

A Bold New Frontier
Wow I was taken aback by just how much I Eden Zero. Eden Zero is a sci fi fantasy brimming with personality and while it is simple in its presentation , sometimes simplicity is something very special. The story revolves around Shiki our main character and Rebecca meeting and from there a journey across space and time commences. It's very entertaining to see the cast interact with each other and learn about each other as we the audience do as well. There are some genuinely touching moments from the first chapter onward, something that testifies to the author having a great deal of experience in storycrafting. The artwork is clean and crisp with a good sense of motion during the action scenes. If I had any complaint about the volume is it's a little short but besides that I honestly have nothing bad to say. If your looking for a journey across the stars with a wacky crew Eden Zero is the right manga for you. I have been MickManga and I can't wait for volume 2 of Eden Zero.

The story is just the beginning of a great start.
Just can't wait for the Anime to be fully released. This is just going to get jam packed with a lot of that Hiro Mashima Magic, if you ever read Fairy Tail and read through Rave Master. Highly recommend to anyone in general. This is just as great, like reading a DC and a Marvel comic. You will not get disappointed in the content. It just Hiro Mashimas work and his alone, and with his team efforting on putting this excellent story out there.

starting out
hiro mashima brings us a new and exiciting tale of adventure with shiki a young man who has lived his entire life with robots at a rundown abandoned amusement park, and rebecca a b-cuber (mishima's equivalent of a youtuber) always on the lookout for her next big hit video with her robotic companion happy (a slightly different version from the the happy in fairy tail) the two become friends and travel companions on many adventure across the cosmos

Familiar but unique
I enjoyed fairy tail, and I enjoy this new take on scifi fantasy, it's fun and easy to digest especially when seeing familiar faces.

Another series, with very family characters
Another shonen by the creator of Fairy Tail (my personal favorite, so I'm probably biased) and Rave Master, which I know nothing about. Hiro likes what he likes, clearly. Because many of these characters, though differently modeled and with different personalities, are rehashed from his previous works. Which I know Fairy Tail took a lot of stuff from Rave Master, so I can't diss it for this fact since I loved Fairy Tail. This manga was a fun read, with laughs, tears and some fan service. Boy do I love me some cat girls hahahah. I think Eden Zero will live up to what Hiro Mashima has done so far. Love that he's trying a genre he believes has been unexplored as of late. Hope he has fun and success continuing it. Hi, Hiro!

Another fantastic series by Hiro Mashima
A new series by the creator of Fairy tail and Rave, Hiro Mashima. The characters are great fun and although the setting is different from Mashima's usual work it still has a familiar feel to it.If your a fan of Fairy tail like me then you will probably like this series too.
