Slow it down and you will have a perfect experience
Ok so I seen a lot of reviews that users are having issues. I understand their frustrations but frankly they gave up instead of researching and testing. I read every single review before purchase and now I’m giving mine after my first print. Incredible strength for a PETG blend. It lays perfectly fine for me on blue tape and glue stick. I learned within 3 seconds of starting print SLOW IT DOWN. I ran 30mms at 245c 15mms walls first layer w brim print came out perfect. Now yes it doesn’t have black carbon pigment added so it is a greyish finish but I have a feeling it’s graphene flakes not fiber and that’s better! 4mm thick at a 45mm span triangle infill 30% and it will take all your night to bend it and it will spring right back without deformation. I really hope people take this review and slowly print it and I am positive that for the value strength and quantity you will give it 5 stars too. Or at least if you tried it and read this review it helps you succeed.

Attractive and durable!
Dark black color with, what appears to be plenty of carbon fiber. This PETG is slightly flexible but very strong. I'm using it for drawer pulls on an old wooden dresser and with a 5" handle it felxes but doesn't feel like it's going to break. It printed well and didn't appear to wear down my brass nozzle at all.

Poor layer adhesion
Comparing this product to Priline PETG-C or CarbonX (Nylon 6 with Carbon fiber) and the quality difference is extremely clear. There is a reason this filament is $19 and the other two are $50.Strength is worse than plain PETG, and layer adhesion is almost non-existant.I would not recommend this product, not even for testing purposes.

PETG Carbon Fiber Filament - First affordable filament in the market
This is the first time I've ever seen carbon fiber reinforced PETG filament. I was skeptical but at 3DHero their prices are affordable so I decided to try my luck.Plastic extrusion is difficult since there are foreign objects. You can forget about printing this as typical PETG. I didn't use much filament learning but I quickly found out that I had to print at 280 (C) to keep up with my 35mm/s printing. Next it was getting jammed because of retraction. I have a direct drive with so my typical 1.2mm retractions were reduced to .6 and that elimiated the jaming. Bed temp was unchanged at 50(C)Can't wait for more.

Waste of time, effort, and money - not up to Stronghero3d's normal standards
I've bought Stronghero3d's filaments in the past and been extremely happy with them. This was not the case with this filament, in fact it's the worst I've used from any manufacturer. No amount of drying helps either (I've been using a filament dryer for well over a year with fantastic results). It was bad enough that I wrote the company two weeks ago. I've received no response at all, so I'm posting this review.Below is the email I sent them:------------------------------------------Greetings,I apologize if you're not the correct person to contact. Unfortunately, yours is the only email address listed on your website. If you are not the correct person, please forward this email to that person.I've bought your filaments in the past and have been very happy with them (my wife loves them too, huge selling point there).Recently (but not recently enough to return them) I purchased two spools of your Carbon Fiber PETG from Amazon as I thought $23.99/kg to be a very good price. I ignored the poor reviews and hoped for a similar quality filament that I'm used to from your company (and from some of the early reviews). I noticed that the price had dropped significantly since I made my purchase (cheap enough to be a great deal on non-CF PETG), so I was planning on buying a few more rolls. I figured before I buy more, I should test it out - I'm glad I did.Issues I've encountered:1. Advertised and labeled temperature range is 230C-250C. It barely extrudes at those temperatures with a dual-drive (Bondtec) extruder. It's a crumbly mess at anything less than 270C, and prints nicely (most of the time) between 275C-280C. This seems excessively high, especially since it's well out of the advertised range. A recent reviewer states he has to print it between 280C-300C with a volcano hot-end.2. It is not remotely black, in fact it is transparent. The first comments to this effect appear in May of this year. Reviews prior to that have photos showing black prints, which matches the advertised photos.3. Very, very little carbon fiber, barely enough to give a finished print a smokey tone. This appears to have changed in May of this year, as prior reviews didn't complain about it. In fact the February reviews commented on the strength and rigidity added by the CF content.4. The fibers are not a consistent length. Most of the time, it prints fine, but every few hours, I get a hard clog in a standard 0.4mm nozzle.5. Horrible layer adhesion. I've printed with multiple brands of PETG, and PETG is well known to have extremely good layer adhesion. I've found this filament snaps very easily at layer lines, even when printed at 280C at 25mm/s.I've attached a photo that illustrates the transparency and the lack of carbon fiber content. As you can see from the second attached photo, I've got my printer dialed in for this filament nicely (the stringing test is 20mm total width), yet I've not been able to complete any print larger than 15 grams.I wanted to bring this to your attention as it is not at all what I expected from this filament.

the material was marked for 230-250 but 270 is minimum for a decent layer adhesion.
After Playing around with heat, and cooling print speed i was able to get a pretty good print , i ended up with 270c , 50c heat bed and 50mm/s ..... my first print basically self destructed and came apart. in the end it was well worth the cost.

Very impressed
I am impressed by the strength of this material. It is really rigid, very close to Polycarbonate, but with more flex before snapping on tests and products I produce. It has a nice surface finish as well, of course not like the matte like pla, it carries over the PETG gloss. It also carries over the "nozzle glob" as you print as does all PETG filaments I have printed with. It accumulates and can add it to the print if not paused and removed every half our or so. Could be helped with some software adjustments?Overall I am looking to buy a lot more of this product in the future.

Don't buy this, PERIOD
As recent reviewers have stated there is very little CF in this filament and whatever is there is added for appearance at best. It prints and behaves just like plain PETG with the exception that it appears to want way more heat. The other major issue I had with it was that the spool winding was terrible and it kept getting caught on itself leading to under-extrusion as the extruder had to battle to get it off the spool. In the end I had to manually wind it onto another spool to have any hope of my prints not failing. This is the first time that I have had any issues with filament bought on Amazon, so I would STRONGLY recommend you stay away from it. Gave it 1 star only cause Amazon won't let me give it 0
