This cover is well made and my Kindle paperwhite 7th gen fits perfectly, I don't need to worry about switching off, the magnetic close does the job.

Lovely colour and style
I bought this case to replace an old case for my Kindle Paperwhite, which I've had for a few years. This new case is so easy to use - very quick to put the Kindle into it, and also to remove it. It was very difficult to remove the old case. I bought the turquoise colour which is really lovely and matches the case I bought for my smartphone. The Kindle sleeps and wakes as the cover is closed or opened. I like the little pocket on the front in which I can slip a piece of paper or credit card if needed. It's neither lightweight nor heavy - sort of medium, but easy enough to hold with one hand. I've just bought a second one in cobalt blue which is darker than it looks on the web page but still very nice. My old Kindle Paperwhite still works but I bought a new one anyway on Prime Day (£40 off!) so needed another case for it. The new Paperwhite does fit into this case, but not quite as well as my old one, as the new Kindle is much thinner. The sleep-wake function of the case works though.

Absolutely love it. Ideal for reading in bed as it is light and comfortable to hold plus when you are feeling drowsy it just has to be closed and it goes to sleep. Highly recommended.
