Before getting into prog, Wishbone Ash churned out blues 'n' boogie with the best of 'em. Their 1970 debut already features their deadly two-guitar attack: Blind Eye; Phoenix; Lady Whiskey; Queen of Torture, and more!

Great first album.
Great first album by Wishbone Ash. No need to say how good the music is. The album arrived shortly after the stated time but was well packaged, good quality cover and crisp sounding vinyl. Nice to get the album on vinyl again, let’s hope for Argus and Wishbone 4 in the near future. Highly recommended.

The best?
Everyone keeps saying how great Argus is; yet this is the album of Wishbone's that I find myself playing most often. Original & experimental.

Mmm...not sure about the colour!!
Been a big fan of Wishbone ash for some years and was delighted to come across this remastered vinyl version. Sound quality is excellent I just don't really take to the certain shade of Brown vinyl they've used. But hey, just a minor quibble on this otherwise fantastic reissue.

Superb debut album
Wishbone Ash certainly qualify as one of the most accomplished British groups of the 1970's and this superb debut album places the emphasis on the sublime skills of the twin lead guitarists/vocalists Ted Turner and Andy Powell, who are backed up by the solid rhythm section of Martin Turner (bass) and Steve Upton (drums). A strong set of songs with the gorgeous 'Errors Of My Ways' and the evergreen 'Phoenix' well worthy of mention here, this definitely comes recommended in my book.
