I did this on my spare time and it came out pretty nice.

We love owls , Harry Potter and building in our household. It was a great project for my 8 year old son and now it stands proud on our shelf. Fun to put together and a great showcase piece

I got this to display on my Harry Potter shelf. I was super excited. Assembled it all together, it went quite smoothly, not difficult at all. So I’m holding it together set it on my shelf and once I let go it falls apart. The reason is because the wings are too heavy for the couple of layers holding it in so they pivot and push the layers off. It’s hard to explain but essentially you have to glue it together. You could probably use wood glue if you have a way to hold it together while it dries, but luckily I have some super glue from another craft.Make sure you have that before you put it together and you’re golden. There is also directions for painting it but I opted to leave it unpainted. It’s a decent size and looks pretty cool so I think still worth getting. But I’m not sure how they’d miss instructing you to glue if they had actually tried assembling it themselves.

Fun and easy to put together! My daughter loved the fact it is something unique for her collection.You do have to be careful with the pieces, as she did break a piece while trying to put it together. However, it was easy to fix. At the moment she is leaving it wood and has not painted Hedwig.

This is a Christmas gift for my grandson. He likes Harry Potter very well. I'm sure he will like the gift.

I bought this for my son. He really enjoyed it & wants the other sets now. He was a little heavy handed at times when popping out the pieces so a few had to be super glued but I'd recommend a dab of super glue here & there anyway to keep it intact.

I bought this set for my daughter's surprise birthday party- Harry Potter of course, as arts and crafts for the invited kids. After the first one's pieces broke, we thought that perhaps the kid was not careful enough. However, after adults started to assist the kids with the set, we realized that there is no way of building it without breaking at least 1-2 parts. None of the 9 kits, which I purchased, was completed without breakage, we had to tape/glue the pieces, so the kids could continue to paint the set (I purchased the paint sets separately).As excited as I was when we received the kits, I was disappointed and so were the kids once we started building the owl. It could be really cool product if not for that issue.
