Each one is for a small single salad. It may work ok if you eat iceberg lettuce which should cut easier, but I eat romaine or kale which seems to be too thick for the knife. I found my salad easier & less time consuming to just chop the old fashioned way on the cutting board.

The idea sounded good, and since we like salads it looked like a good product, but...lettuce is about the only thing that works in this. Everything else slides around, or in the case of large onions or tomatoes and such, the top won't close so you have to cut off the bottom of the veggie to get the lid to fit...in any case, this doesn't work well enough to have bought it for us and for a gift for someone. It needs a spike or something to hold smaller items firmly.

It’s always a pain to chop everything up one by one, with this item it’s so easy to just throw everything into the slicing bowl and chop it up and you’re good to go! Plastic knife worked surprisingly well! And it’s nice that it comes with 2 slicing bowls as well as a small storage container!

I loved this especially for cutting up pineapple. It made the job so much quicker and contained.I usually use romaine lettuce instead of iceberg, and it did a great job on that, too. I only sliced through every other slit to make the pieces just a bit bigger.Very helpful tool.

I love this product! It's just what i need to get the salads ready fast. It's great to have all the elements (e.g., knife and container), not just the fancy slicing guide and base. Thank you!

Great product. Just makes prepping my morning salad take at least a quarter of the time. Cleans easy and minimal mess. Glad I purchased!

It is an okay salad maker for small salads but I would not recommend to anyone else.
