Q: Do u use a entire bag for one cat at a time

It depends on the size of your litter box and how many cats share it. I have a large litter box, 3 cats and I clean the box twice daily. I like to keep a certain level of litter in the box, so as I remove litter I replace about the same amount. Each bag may last 3-4 days when used in this way. If I were to dump all the litter out of the box to clean it, most likely 1 bag would be used to fill to desired level.

I only have one cat. Three times a year I get rid of what is in her litter box and wash it out thoroughly. I add two 1/2 10-12# bags of fresh litter into a clean litter box each time I wash it. I scoop out and check her box three times a day. I add some litter to her box about once a week to replace the soiled litter that I remove each time I scoop out. Hope this information helps.

They are price-gouging you. Petsmart is selling 42 pounds of this kitty litter for $27.00. Much cheaper even with higher inflation on 2-20-23. I have reported them to Amazon.
