I was looking for a basic unit to start dehydrating without spending a huge amount and, so far, I've been pretty happy with this one. I've had it running all this week doing kale chips and various fruits and the results have been great, for the most part. The fact that I can throw the trays in the dishwasher when done is a huge plus, as is the ability to see everything without having to left heat escape by opening up the top. That said, its not quite as 'set and forget' as they make it seem; if you're doing more than 3 trays or have a lot of stuff on them, then you do need to rotate the trays top to bottom and front to back. Otherwise, things wont dry evenly and some areas will end up over- or underdone. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of....

very nice looking dehydrator, I was able to set up timer for it and forget about it and not worry about over drying. i dry 3 stack and at low temperature it tooks over 24hrs to dry but it turn out nice and crispy and smells great. The tray stacks nicely but are a little low so you have to slice your items really thin, but i was drying pepper. The material looks good but I don't know how durable it is... hopefully it last... hasn't broken on me yet!

Extremely easy to use. I rated easy to clean slightly lower because it is a little difficult depending on the type of food your are wanting to dry. The volume is amazing. I haven't been needing all the shelves yet. I love dried apples, kale, blueberry halves, and cherry halves. It's slightly bulky to store but that's just the volume it can dry.

This dehydrator seems to work well, it is compact and doesn't take up much room on the counter. You will need to make sure you rotate the trays on occasion to have even dehydrating among the 5 trays. So far I have dehydrated some fruit and made ground beef jerky and both turned out good.

I tried to upload a video. For some reason, I couldn’t get it to load. It is very quiet compared to my older one. It has an auto shutoff that I did not have with my previous one. It is exactly as pictured. I like the bottom. It has an area where the juice drains that is easy to wipe. I did purchase the extended warranty

I bought this to replace a cheaper model and I'm very impressed. It made the perfect chickem dog treats. I can't wait to make more. Easy to use. Easy to clean.

I bought this food dehydrator for my uncle as he loves dehydrated foods but hates how expensive it becomes to buy them all the time so this unit is great for it's value. He's older therefore I needed an easy to use and clean unit as he is a little inpatient, so far he liked it and has already prepared some dried fruits. He also loved the design as it matches with other appliances in the kitchen
