HAWKFORCE 8 Volt Cordless Rotary Tool with 5 Speeds, 4 Front LED Lights, Polishing and Engraving Tool Kit for Craft Projects and DIY Creations

This little cordless tool is terrific. I was sceptical; how good could it be for under $40? I've owned Dremel tools that were about the same specs. This tool is far better, well made and powerfull. The battery life was excellent , but after 10 minutes of high speed grinding the tool did get hot, thus the missing star. I bought it to grind of a rusted screw head in a hard to reach place It worked easily.

I've been using this on a regular basis now for about 8 months because IN MY OPINION YOU SHOULD USE A PRODUCT for AT LEAST A MONTH before you WRITE A REVIEW... as a AVID READER of REVIEWS , I rely HEAVILY on them to influence my PURCHASING DECISIONS, I suspect many of you do the same. All the Glossy and flowery language in the products description is usually "Happy Talk and the SPECS. The REAL information is ALWAYS in the OPINIONS of My fellow AMAZON SHOPPERS that have ALREADY PURCHASED the item and USED THE ITEM LONG ENOUGH to SUBMIT an accurate EVALUATION of the PRODUCTS usability, Performance, DURABILITY, the integrity of the construction of the item (is it WELL MADE?) Is it easy to keep clean/maintain etc..etc...?about ALL the QUESTIONS involve extensive USE and and APPLICATION of the item.. However We've All seen the Reviews that say "It arrived two days early I can't wait to use it " Don't Write a REVIEW UNTIL YOU HAVE USED THE ITEM and HAVE USEFUL INFORMATION TO REPORT...On that Note... This RECHARGEABLE Cordless Rotary Tool is Well made (it has some heft to it) easy to work with (Easy to change the different bits) holds it's charge for at least 2 weeks and charges from 0-Full in 2 hrs. The circular LED Headlight is bright and automatic and makes it safer and easier to see your project in low light. I'm VERY PLEASED with this and the price was excellent compared to a "Cordless Drimmel"

Great rotary tool, has a good feel while operating and the battery life is good. I like the selectable 5 rotary speeds. The LED lites to illuminate your work area work well. The tool starts at the 3rd speed which is 15000 rpm ( I believe it starts at at the 3rd speed to allow it to start up easier) then you may select whatever speed your work requires. The rotary speeds are 5k thru 25k rpm.The included assortment of grinding, polishing and sanding attachments is just about everything you could need. I have a Dremel tool and all their attachments fit the Hawkforce.I would highly recommend this tool to anyone wanting a portable battery rotary tool. I have used the tool to grind off the spot weld residue from the end of several 18650 batteries and to file my dogs nails; both of these jobs are delicate work and the tool performed well.

Was using it to cut a mounting screw on a toilet and it got stuck on high speed and I couldn't shut it off. Was getting a little warm, so I put it outside in cold weather and it did run for another hour. Impressive for time, and I liked it. Quirky.. Mike

Coming from Dremel brand rotary tools we are very impressed with this machine. The ability to choose rotation speed makes this tool adaptable to different jobs. The included tips vary for most types of jobs.We've thus far used it for trimming automotive plastic and removing hard set glue. We'll likely use it regularly to trim toenails on a Malamute.From the photos I was concerned this would be too large and heavy to feel comfortable. Despite having to wear hand/wrist guards 24/7 for carpel tunnel I found this tool surprisingly useable.Bottom line, there is no need to spend more for a rotary tool unless you just need more power. Just as good as a $90 Dremel but with far more attachments. Also of note, this appears to be exactly the same tool as what other companies are selling but in a different color with more attachments.

Overall this was a good purchase. This only downfall to this is not all the accessories work well, especially the sanding barrel when in use it slides which gets pretty annoying. The last issue experienced so far is that not all the accessories fit the tool, just seems like a waste to issue accessories that are too small for the tool.

Bought this little Jem to do detail cleaning on my engine. Right out of the box it had enough power to scrub and polish nearly the entire engine!All the aluminum shines better than new.As stated the little boxes the accessories come in are not the greatest, just get a multi-compartment art/crafts organizer and use that to sort and store your parts.This little thing weighs less a Dremel and so far has out lasted each one I've had.If you're looking for a rotary tool this one does the job and then some

Got this to use it as a nail grinder for work (dog salon). I've had one similar to this one before and it works just the same. Super easy to use. If you're getting this for actual hardware stuff, this comes with an extra little box of gidgets so I think it's perfect.I've had it for a few months now and everybody at my job loves my grinder. Trying to use mine. I suspect it's been dropped at least twice now because the dremel bit is a little crooked and it's now super loud. Wish I got the warranty with it, but I'm considering being another one since it's scaring all the dogs.
